I am looking for a mid-range LCD with good color accuracy. Hope anyone who is doing DTP / Photoshop / Web design can share experience with any LCD they have used?

Yupe i'm aware of other LCD threads here, but I'm looking to learn more about LCDs graphic designers or photographers use in their daily work.

Thankie

Very good compilation by lonewolf

My budget shortlist:
Can be found locally, with good price/performace

Dell 2007WFP $1,399 20" Widescreen
Confirmed S-IPS/S-PVA lottery, Dell MY deny banding issues and strangely also deny any revisions AO3, AO4 etc. Otherwise excellent if its S-IPS, good colors with good ergonomics adjustability.

Viewsonic VX2025WM $815 20" Widescreen
MVA panel, but better image quality than Dell 2007WFP with PVA panel. Good overall performer, less features than the Dell, but nicer price.
Cnet Full Review (Cnet score 8.0, Users 8.2)

(PC Mag comparison of these)

Very nice side by side comparison @ digitalversus.com

High End Brands:
Out of reach ...

... will add more when I know, please post if you have any recommendation

for graphic pors, be sure to invest in a good Monitor Calibrator
here are 2 of the more popular ones: click for reviews...

ColorVision Spyder2

Huey

shashinki.com carries the huey... rclxms.gif

The Pantone Huey sounds awesome, it won many awards and the price also good (RM299), the specs sound great, can see and buy here (for windows and mac): Direct link to shanshiki's product description

"Here's a neat feature and something that the bigger more expensive units don't have. Huey will continously read the ambient room light and adjust your screen color to compensate." donno what kind of real world effect this has but still notworthy.gif
