IMHO you sum it up very well, I use to use only Android phone buts since the 5s experience I'm on my third iPhone now, i would say the ease of use and backup and restore function of iOS is far superior compared to android. And best thing about the iPhone phablet is its battery life. Standby time is awesome too.

Not possible you need the app mentioned above to transfer from android.

I have a minor issue with the phone
Unlike my ipad mini3 moving apps into folder isn't smooth at all. Sometimes I need to do it 2-4 times before I can successfully move the app. Maybe it is the new force touch tech causing such problems. Even moving app among home screen is not smoothly executed

Try switching your force touch sensitivity to high to prevent "miss pressed" and see if it helps.

I have similar difficulty adapting with 3D Touch too. A matter of time we get use to the pressure touch, week or two should be good

Try updating at wee hours, yesterday I reached home about 3.30am and all the app updates were blazing fast. Just now when installing new apps, the speed is kinda crawling again.

I use it to download movie everyday as my area slow with streamyx while unifi not available
