I'm just freaking out with the TSMC and Samsung chip thing D: God damn Apple.

Quoting from imore : To be clear, if you're a tech enthusiast who is super into extreme workloads and synthetic benchmarks, it's an interesting subject to knock around. If you're a mainstream consumer, ignore the noise. There's no meaningful difference between iPhones and your time is much better spent enjoying your new phone

QUOTE(busbos @ Oct 9 2015, 03:54 PM)
it should be fine since they will allocate specific time for self-collect (7am-10am 16th oct) which is not the business hours. i read somewhere in maxis fb they said if want to walk in buy from maxis has to be on business hours
*
Why restrict collection time to 7-10am ?? I really don't understand logic behind it. If they are worried about large crowd turning up , why not give preference to those who turn up for collection or setup a counter for such buyers??
The Maxis online site is terribly slow. This morning my que was no 8 but yet needed to wait for nearly 15 minutes before I could proceed to step of purchasing. One minute I thought my iMac hung as zero response from the site!!

Anandtech review of the TSMC n Samsung chip. Read their conclusion summary. Is non conclusive. Basically I feel is just an overblown issue.

THE CONCLUSION
Wrapping things up then, where do we stand? The short answer is that all we know is that we don't know. What we know is that there isn't enough information currently out there to accurately determine whether the TSMC or Samsung A9 SoC has better power consumption, and more importantly just how large any difference might be. 1-on-1 comparisons under controlled conditions can provide us with some insight in to how the TSMC and Samsung A9s compare, but due to the natural variation in chip quality, it's possible to end up testing two atypical phones and never know it.

To that end I suspect that Apple's statement is not all that far off. They are of course one of the few parties able to actually analyze a large number of phones, and perhaps more to the point, having a wide variation in battery life on phones - even if every phone meets the minimum specifications - is not a great thing for Apple. It can cause buyers to start hunting down phones with "golden" A9s, and make other buyers feel like they've been swindled by not receiving an A9 with as low the power consumption as someone else. To be clear there will always be some variance and this is normal and expected, but if Apple has done their homework they should have it well understood and reasonably narrow. The big risk to Apple is that dual sourcing A9s in this fashion makes that task all the harder, which is one of the reasons why SoCs are rarely dual sourced.

There is actually NO best telco data coverage. It depends greatly on your area and places you often go to. I always advised those who are unsure which telco to subscribed to, just test them out using their prepaid cards !
I used to travel extensively throughout the country ( for business) on west coast and east coast south to north : this type of usage I would recommend Maxis follow by Celcom
In my hometown , nothing beats Celcom ( strongest LTE), follow by Maxis ( LTE just started only last year n still weak), Digi ( No LTE), U Mobile ( No LTE and worst data reception)

Actually nothing to worry about as issue is just being overblown by only one website !! Latest reviews by more tech site had shown is of no major concern. You can check up latest Arstechnica site for their opinion

Comprehensive photography test shows the iPhone 6s camera isn’t the world’s best

http://pocketnow.com/2015/10/14/iphone-6s-...st-not-the-best

Whatever the reviews are, personally I feel it is still good enough for me. My experience with the previous ip6+ was good though I must admit I do find the Note4 was slightly more superior vs it

Very good and seamlessly perfect 100% transfer from any android phone to iphone . If transfer is important, is worth paying for this software

What's the difference between paying for the software and download it for free?

Free version only allow you to sync few messages only. My 6000+ messages with about 3.5GB video/images data was perfectly sync over with zero issues

So, I'm pretty new with the iPhones. How do I activate the warranty for my 6s? The seller said that once I insert my sim card, the warranty will start but I just wanna make sure.
EDIT: Also, I just bought the license for Whatsapp Android to iPhone Transfer but I'm kinda lost. Where can I find the username and license key?

Check your email for the licence code

I have a minor issue with the phone
Unlike my ipad mini3 moving apps into folder isn't smooth at all. Sometimes I need to do it 2-4 times before I can successfully move the app. Maybe it is the new force touch tech causing such problems. Even moving app among home screen is not smoothly executed

From BGR site

ZDNet’s Adrian Kingsley-Hughes is someone who says that he loves his iPhone but he’s nonetheless giving Android a second look. Why? Because ever since he upgraded his device to iOS 9, it’s seriously hurt his device’s overall performance even though it was supposed to be a release aimed at ironing out the bugs that plagued the releases of iOS 7 and iOS 8.

“The sorry state of iOS 9 is affecting my ability to do all the things I need to get done in a day done,” he says bluntly. “iOS 9 has transformed my iPhone 6 Plus — a bit of kit that represents many hundreds of hard-earned dollars — from something that was a joy to use into an object of annoyance.”

Here is his partial list of grievances that have cropped up ever since installing iOS 9:

Poor touchscreen responsiveness
Wi-Fi drops for no reason
Sluggish user interface
Sluggish orientation control when turning handset from portrait to landscape or vice versa
Crashing apps
Sluggish app launching
Sluggish keyboard
Search is slow to respond
Poor battery life

I had just updated my ip6s+ to 9.1 and will monitor it and assess whether I do face similar issues !!

I find the 3d touch still has a long way to go n improve. In my case my success rate of activating it is 30-50% meaning at times need to press 2-3 times. I had tested all the 3 pressure points n see not much difference
My phone is naked without any SP ( don't believe in using such stuffs)
