no no. what i mean, the ideal for a subtank rba is around 0.5 since its a subohm tank anyway. with 26g coil if u go lower it will less wraps hence the cotton is covered like just a hitler mustache in the middle. Then ur cotton will burn fast.

btw, when i used to use kanthal on rba subtank, i do space coiling instead of contact. Dont ask me why, i just did

Well you're right the first time. More wraps = higher resistance. Everybody starts from somewhere. Less wrap means more wattage could go through and vise versa.

Hey, its supposed to be fun! You should experiment with more or less wraps. The only thing is not to go over the limits of your mod or battery.
I switch from fat to thin wires from time to time. High or low ohms. Your vape will just fell different. Like something new. Since I use a regulated mod I'd normally do more wraps. More wraps means more wire in contact with cotton to vaporize liquid.

haha, jz that i don have any spare mods or tank in case shit goes wrong

just tried out my new coiling after charging it. im firing at 8w 1.83v +/- 0.02, 0.4-.5ohm(varies everytime i fire)

the firing sparks louder than previous (as in u can hear the juice popping) could be me putting too much juice when wetting the cotton? but the flavor is so much stronger than when i was using the 0.6ohm coil the shop did for me.

but i realise it's also hotter too when i vape.

mind explain a lil bit to me y it's hotter??

the only difference between my coiling and the shop's is

mine is 3.0mm diameter 4wraps spaced
shop is 2.5mm diameter 6wraps contact

both are using nichrome 26g

Lol, what mod & tank are you using? I can't stop laughing cos when the manufacturers made subohm tanks they didn't envision people firing it at 8W!
When you go low ohms it gets hot. Subohm tanks using 0.2 to 0.4ohm coils are for hot vapes & big clouds!
Popping sound is nice isn't it? Might also mean you should use more cotton.

Fire away up to 4.2 volts. Why for subtank around 4v is teh best

and dont use creamy liquid, use cooling cheap ass local juice. You gonna enjoy that much more than vaping some expensive US juice in subtank

im using D2 and subtank. im using CRFT's 6mg juice. i tried it on 25W it chokes me i was on 25-35w when using local juices. but no this brand. im doing it at 12w now but put it on 8 to test test water

as for cotton wise im just following wat the shop told me, trim it same length as the base. maybe next time i shud put more cotton??
