When you add a second coil the resistance is halved. Most TC mods range is 0.05 ohms at the lowest. When you add the second coil the resistance dropped below 0.05 ohms. You can either use it as a single coil or use 28awg wires if you want to do a dual coil.

Haha.......I doubt you can fit 10-15 wraps in a tank's deck. I reckon in most tanks deck 8 or 9 wraps spaced coil is the largest that can fit. 28awg is about the lowest gauge to use if doing a dual coil.

I know you're talking about an RDA. The guy I was replying to is using a Goblin Mini. I have a Gob Mini so I know for dual coil gonna have to use Ni 28awg. Any fatter wire (lower gauge) and there won't be room for enough wraps.

SS wire is half the resistance of Kanthal. SS wire heats fast & cools fast. 26awg 2.5id 6 wrap dual coil is 0.19ohm. Good wire if you wanna go low ohms.

Tried both spaced and contact. Its about the same. Same 0.19ohm reading in both my D2s.

24awg again. Why are all you guys using 24? You're all using regulated mods, not mechs. You don't need to super subohm, you can just increase the wattage on your mod.

In a mech mod, the only way to draw more power from the battery/increase power was to go to lower ohms. Fatter wires like 24awg and reduced wraps on the coil is used to lower the ohms.
With regulated mods all you'd have to do to increase power is to up the wattage. You can use thinner wires like 26 or 28awg at a higher ohm with more wraps. You'd get better battery life and probably less juice used.

What did I tell you? Man know his shit..err butt plugs. Vail looks at butt plugs and think of mods, look at mods and think of butt plugs. You can shop from his line of pristine 'lightly used' plugs.

Have told you on a mech mod you control power through your ohms of your coils. If you're planning on using a SMPL mech, 0.5ohms would be a good start. ( 2 X 1ohm coils). On a mech, anything over 1ohm is gonna be a cold, lousy vape. 24 or 26awg wires would be alright. Make sure you're using good batteries and have fun.

Theres some complaints that the Evic Mini fires low in TC mode. Its taller than the D2.

As for the D2, Kanthal users just need to change it to 'Joules' mode for it to step down. The DC5 charging jack is more durable than USB port.

I have two D2s. V2 & V3. The D2 with its rounded edges feels better in my hand than the Evic M. I get excellent battery life in TC mode - more than a days use. The latest version has the SX130H V3.0A firmware. In Ti mode it reads the resistance better and it fires slightly hotter than the V2.0.
I bought the silver color V3. The finish is better than the black. It comes with a black colored sleeve.

Bought my silver V3 from 'Alexng' at Shopee. RM189 with LG HG2 battery provided.
