QUOTE(JimL @ Oct 14 2015, 04:28 PM) Its super white isn't it? That means its bleached. If it doesn't say organic then it means pesticide was used. i dono i buy for sister so tot of curi a bit use. it's lint free (i don even know whats that), 100% cotton and ultra soft So no. Unless you want to boil it a few times before you use it. |

Vail JimL
Sifu sifu, wanna ask, i just did my own coiling first time to test out. was using nichrome 26g, wrapping 4 wraps on 3.0mm diameter. i been getting 0.4 to 0.5 ohm. it keeps jumping each time i fire. wats wrong? i made sure the screw on both end were tighten d. will it cause damage or anythng bad to it? vape suggest me to wrap 6 wraps on 2.4mm diameter (i using screwdriver to coil not jig) but i wanna try out bigger diameter lesser wraps to see the difference. |

QUOTE(Vail @ Oct 14 2015, 08:47 PM) no no. what i mean, the ideal for a subtank rba is around 0.5 since its a subohm tank anyway. with 26g coil if u go lower it will less wraps hence the cotton is covered like just a hitler mustache in the middle. Then ur cotton will burn fast. i see. btw i did spaced wrapping as well. spread out the cotton burn a lilttle. btw, when i used to use kanthal on rba subtank, i do space coiling instead of contact. Dont ask me why, i just did til now i am still confused more wraps= more resistance or less. my circuit knowledge really blows |

QUOTE(JimL @ Oct 14 2015, 09:16 PM) Hey, its supposed to be fun! You should experiment with more or less wraps. The only thing is not to go over the limits of your mod or battery. haha, jz that i don have any spare mods or tank in case shit goes wrong I switch from fat to thin wires from time to time. High or low ohms. Your vape will just fell different. Like something new. Since I use a regulated mod I'd normally do more wraps. More wraps means more wire in contact with cotton to vaporize liquid. Read this piece from ECF. It explains a lot about subohm, coils & whatnot. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/thr...devices.611315/ Really, stop worrying just have fun. just tried out my new coiling after charging it. im firing at 8w 1.83v +/- 0.02, 0.4-.5ohm(varies everytime i fire) the firing sparks louder than previous (as in u can hear the juice popping) could be me putting too much juice when wetting the cotton? but the flavor is so much stronger than when i was using the 0.6ohm coil the shop did for me. but i realise it's also hotter too when i vape. mind explain a lil bit to me y it's hotter?? the only difference between my coiling and the shop's is mine is 3.0mm diameter 4wraps spaced shop is 2.5mm diameter 6wraps contact both are using nichrome 26g |

QUOTE(JimL @ Oct 14 2015, 09:50 PM) @gnomemaster, im using D2 and subtank. im using CRFT's 6mg juice. i tried it on 25W it chokes me Lol, what mod & tank are you using? I can't stop laughing cos when the manufacturers made subohm tanks they didn't envision people firing it at 8W! When you go low ohms it gets hot. Subohm tanks using 0.2 to 0.4ohm coils are for hot vapes & big clouds! Popping sound is nice isn't it? Might also mean you should use more cotton. See, you already have a reason to buy more toys: "in case shit goes wrong"! as for cotton wise im just following wat the shop told me, trim it same length as the base. maybe next time i shud put more cotton?? btw, i heard D2 got some problems is it? it fires so quick and hot |

QUOTE(Vail @ Oct 14 2015, 09:55 PM) Here is a dirty trick. As dirty as JimL and nekkidgramma. woops i am using US juice now. local juice somehow don appeal too much to me. cause a lot of black stuff in the coil area, is it gunking that u call?Fire away up to 4.2 volts. Why for subtank around 4v is teh best and dont use creamy liquid, use cooling cheap ass local juice. You gonna enjoy that much more than vaping some expensive US juice in subtank |

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Oct 14 2015, 10:24 PM) Hey I'm not dirty. Sometimes I just enjoy intimate moment involving two midgets, a clown suit, a jar of peanutbutter and a tuna fish. I mean come on who hasn't done that and I use Lifebuoy too ya dig, ohmies. I'm squeaky clean. oooo, gt single coil adapter? or must be double??This basically. My subtank is reserved for things I don't want to last forever, and another for especially for brain freeze moments. Forget the Crown if you want to practice your builds. Look at Vail sig and get a Billow v2 for dual coil goodness. *The Crown is making me lazier by the day. 3 weeks and the coil is still pumping up excellent vape. God how I wish I could kill this thing so I could use the .25 coil head. But I'm gauging how may days will it last so for the sake of science I'll press on. next month when gaji masuk maybe consider getting another tank. so like wat vail say my US juice wont go to waste |

QUOTE(JimL @ Oct 14 2015, 10:32 PM) So says the dirty bugger trying to sell off his used butt plugs! but if using TC with nickel no problem right??Yup. Vaping at 4v or more. Hot tip: DIY your juice so you can add more flavoring for use in attys with big ass airflow! gnomemaster Hahaha...... D2! You're firing in 'Power' mode right? D2 doesn't have step down in 'Power Mode'. It may indicate 8W but you're firing higher. Way higher. 0.4ohm X 4.2V = 44W! Don't get the Goblin Mini now. A new version with top fill is coming out soon. Lololol....... A supplier asked me if I wanted to buy 200mg nicotine. In bulk! hahaha. so basically the wattage serves no purpose? knn |

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Oct 14 2015, 10:37 PM) I'd guess you could just put some cotton in the airflow just like Vail did a few pages (or was it few threads) ago. Well it's not a waste if you enjoyed it but I'm guessing the flavour would be way muted that what it actually is. just block the juice channel will do? wow thats so smart lol.Or get a dripper. That's why I always goes back dripping at the end of the day. Tanks are nice and all but I'm shifting to RDAs more and more recently. Plus I DIY so an RDA is quite essential to taste my batch. well if im vaping more and more at home i might go for RDA, but i aint gonna bring a bottle of juice with me everywhere i go and drip, i see a lot ppl doing that now. the more portable the more i like it |

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Oct 14 2015, 10:51 PM) At first you have my attention, but now you have my erection. Now I'm interested in that. Still thinks it looks cute. Because we have an Aromamizer RDTA and it has a Velocity styled build deck which makes it better! Oh thank God you're not dead yet. Haven't seen you around lately and I jump to the worst conclusion. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Meh he's the guy with all the butt plugs so I reckon Vail would knew how to stuff a hole full. Thank God is was a tank this time. |

QUOTE(JimL @ Oct 15 2015, 09:15 AM) Just treat joule as watts. There won't be TC if you're using Nichrome or Kanthal so you set it at 450F or anything. But once chg to joule mode i gave to select ni or ti wor. They wont let me fire.Y u troll me sifu This post has been edited by gnomemaster: Oct 15 2015, 01:12 PM |
