Which cimb gives monthly interest?

hnws, cimb islamic current promo 4.3% gives out monthly interest. for your pocket money.

use it for daily makan, save for asnb

no, cimb conventional not paying monthly interest.
ask for islamic one paying monthly.

Ambank will give you half yearly interest.

For current CIMB Unfixed FD I got 12 mth 4.35%. The Islamic one they paid monthly interest. Conventional one no monthly interest. So one has to specify during placing to go for the Islamic FD. The CIMB RM also did not know about this until I asked !

I did see their T & C. But it is for conventional only. Not for Islamic FD. Anyway I placed the Islamic FD on 3rd Nov. I cancelled the CIMB conventional FD placed on 2nd Nov (which did not pay monthly interest) 3 days later and moved to OCBC for 4.5% interest. So next week can confirm if I received the interest.

This is the Terms and Conditions for CIMB Islamic Year End Unfixed Deposit Campaign whereby Clause 14 mentions that All terms and conditions governing the operation of the Eligible Customer’s FRIA-i account shall continue to apply.

There are several types of Term Deposit Accounts-i / Fixed Return Income Account-i (FRIA-i) and one of them it mentions that profit is paid on a monthly basis.

Looks like I missed out on the "Fixed Return Income Account-i (FRIA-i) – Why Wait" !! The CIMB RM did not explain this to me.

Should have collected the profits at that time ! Last year MBB also has this profit paid upfront, I then used it to put in another FD ! The same can be done for this CIMB's promo. Well, it is over already.

Perhaps I shld ask them next week

So now you benefit from no need to WAIT !! Before that you are non-believer on monthly interest !
