My first FD with SCB is maturing soon. Any idea what is the charge for banker's cheque (from FD upliftment)? Is the BC charge for SCB the same if I plan to combine with some fund from SA? Thank you

Wear like poor people, Japanese slippers, oldest shirts and pants you got. Ride a kapcai. Bring a old bag. No one will bother you. Those who wear "blink-blink" are those eye catching people. tongue.gif

Another way is withdraw to your account, then IBFT (make use of the free IBFT) to another bank, bring back banker's cheque from the other bank.

withdraw with cash first, complete the transaction.

then take another q number for FD placement, using the cash.

Affin CASA RM1 balance also canĀ  smile.gif

For Affin Bank Basic Saving Account, is it required to maintain a minimum balance of RM 20.00, without incurring any penalty fee?

___
For Affin Fixed Deposit with effective interest rate of 4.6 % per annum for 15-month tenure, is interest being paid at the end of tenure?

Is it true that they do not really implement the practice of giving interest after 6 months, 12 months and finally 15 months?

Mine was about 4 years back. They never even said anything about adding few dollars. Anyway I gave up HL (walking distance to my house) for affin bank (10 minutes drive) when I discovered this forum. Cannot tahan with their extremely low rates.

Dear sifoos, im new with FD.

looking to get additional income every month by using FD.. after several days of research, I came to conclusion that there are several type of FD.

however im interested with the following, or I would say nearest to my criteria:

-monthly interest paid
-fix interest
-islamic based
-around rm50k deposit (sorry, small money only.. sweat.gif)
-less hassle.. (auto credit interest.. possible?)
-currently I have maybank and public saving accs..

interested in maybank FD 12months..but. I read it, it's not guaranteed sweat.gif
