When you made an earlier placement, there is a contract of agreement on FD placement stating the contract period. You cannot add money to current FD which is still in the contract.

Imagine the offer for Ocbc 12 months is 4.5% now and I have made a placement yesterday. Let's say the FD rate drops to 4% in Dec., do you think bank will allow you to add money on the 4.5% FD?

So stupid limit to 2-3 days only. Min 7 days la ..... cos my past experience, limit transfer online per day only 5k. 10 days transfer also total 50k only. So they didnt allow me place 50k FD, only accept 15k. I so marah I just took out all my money and go to another bank to place FD.

You can set the online transfer limit yourself. If I am not mistaken, you can set the online limit up to rm30k/day.

last year MBB's IBG limit was 10k per day.

i had to IBG 3 days continuously to Affin CASA, before placing the 2yr FD there on the 4th day

Affin accept fund if "freshness" not longer than 5 days or so.

yygo is right. The HL 15 mth 4.26% started in Oct 1. I placed on Oct 1st and received gift from HL. But it was ended by Oct 31st.

Today went to Affin to withdraw FD. Their BC is RM5.80, RENTAS still RM9 !

Affin current FD promo is 12 mth 4.2%, min 10k.

Went to RHB. They have 2 FD promo, 3 mth 4.2% and 15 mth step-up eff rate 4.4%, min 10k. This has been reported before.

They have extended the offer from 1st Nov to 31st Dec

OK. My relative was there on end Oct and HL said the step-up one no more. The other offer they have is 12 mth 4.2%, right ?
