Your aircon problem may be due to evaporator loosing cooling efficiency. SC is not equipped to handle this problem,you have to look for aircon specialist. Evaporator is not easy access on Pugs!

Coolant level at Min will not cause temp. rise. However it is adviserable to topup. You should get level low waning if coolant drops too low, but I wouldn't wait for that.
 
From day 1 for 4 years I have been complaining about coolant level drop. SC  reply all this while has been,  "checked no leak" and they topup coolant. They never answered my question "if no leak,where does the coolant go". My drop in level is about 10mm in 6 months. I have always suspected water pump and suggested to SC. SC come up with same reply " checked no leak".

Under the enhancement package water pump was changed. Guess what, my coolant level is constant now, no drop. It's only 3 months since the enhancement work, so I'm keeping a close watch.

It is possible to develop hairline cracks on heat treatment process( harding process of metal parts) during manufacture. I believe Peugeot QC picked out the flaws and proceeded with the enhancement package.

It is certainly not an effort to falsify figures or delay tactics on impending defects.

I went to Balakong SC and you may look for En. Hafiz. Few of thier service advisors had resigned recently,  a bit difficult to get through thier phone sometimes.

This enhancement package is on a soft call, meaning no official announcements, word of mouth spread. You should email CLIC and they'll reply on what your car needs. Number of items depends on model & date manufacture.

Don't get worried if you don't get an immediate fix date, your car is not going to breakdown! Considering your date of manufacture,you'll probably need only one item or none! I'm on the 5th year and my Pug ran perfectly well all this while. Now after the enhancements, my engine seems new! Totally ecstatic
Yes it's the same. The pump is electrically driven. The correct name is coolant pump, not water pump, my mistake!

It's quite normal to wait months for enhancement package now, as more ppl are getting to know and coming forward. SC also have their own internal politics I guess, hence the delay. My 5 items were all changed at one go with the car 1week at the SC. One of my friends waited a whole month at a KL SC, but he had a courtesy car.

i just got my car this year too. i just did my 10k service today. i did ask about the recall items for my car and they said my car is not involved. i assume those who just bought their cars this year should be the same too. but just ask them, just in case if your car is somehow involved in the recall.

Never heard of this problem with any version of Prince engine. 408 version (ep6cdtm) is one of the more reliable variants!

My 5th year, running very well. After enhancement package, feels like new, fc has improved too! Just changed all four tyres, what a joy to push this lion on twisty roads. Top notch handling,completely forgot it's a sedan till I got out!

Just some update from me as it was a quite some time I didn't visit this page. I own 408 NA for four years now with mileage of 103k. I managed to claim my claim under the extended warranty for aircond problem (ie not cold) recently.

Total repair cost under warranty claim is as follows:
- Evaporator 1 unit RM1,984
- Aircond gas refill RM120
- Replace evaporator housing RM70

I lodged my complain in January 2016. It took awhile for the SC to process my claim. After few follow ups,  SC finally called me to send in my car for adjuster's inspection in early June 2016. The approval process by the insurance company plus the repair took about two weeks plus.
