QUOTE(SKYjack @ Sep 25 2015, 03:51 PM) Tks for your feedback on the extended warranty, bro spaceX. Since the claims are vague it's not worth keeping this warranty. In my experience, Inc Co make claims very difficult. Mine is now 3 years +. I am seriously considering to void warranty. Anyone can suggest good reason for continuing warranty. I welcome your suggestion! |

Hi sifus,
Just a thought.....any of u had experience of exceeding mileage when servicing? Supposedly I should service at 40k km and given extra 500km right? But, I exceeded the 500km given. Thus, my mileage was 40800 when serviced......will this issue void my warranty ? FYI, this is the only time exceeded the mileage.... Pls help.... Tq |

QUOTE(Pugbunny @ Jul 6 2016, 12:39 AM) Hi guys, Hi Pugbunny!Just some update from me as it was a quite some time I didn't visit this page. I own 408 NA for four years now with mileage of 103k. I managed to claim my claim under the extended warranty for aircond problem (ie not cold) recently. Total repair cost under warranty claim is as follows: - Evaporator 1 unit RM1,984 - Aircond gas refill RM120 - Replace evaporator housing RM70 I lodged my complain in January 2016. It took awhile for the SC to process my claim. After few follow ups, SC finally called me to send in my car for adjuster's inspection in early June 2016. The approval process by the insurance company plus the repair took about two weeks plus. Congrats u were able to deal with the claim...u must have been servicing ur car in a timely manner, I presumed....is Peugeot really really strict with the claim matter? Even 1 mistake could void the warranty? I owned 408 NA similar to u....purchased on July 2014....never had issues b4....but something did bother me lately about the warranty issue .... the car is so far so good.... No problem occurred ....the only concern is, for previous service, I sent in my car for servicing at the mileage of 40800, already exceeded the 500km extra given...other services were in timely manner....will my warranty void just bcoz of this one issue ? I am afraid I could not claim if something happen to my car...plz advise...tq |

QUOTE(Aishiteru^Suki @ Jul 16 2016, 06:12 PM) Hi rf, Hi,Based on my past experience, as long as you are within 3 years factory warranty, peugeot / nasim won't make a fuss when it comes to warranty claim. Going into extended warranty period however, it depends on warranty insurance's jurisdiction. got min 3 of my services exceeding mileage requirement for my 308, but got lucky. Appreciate with that statement ....really made me feel relief...tq so much |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Jul 17 2016, 08:34 AM) Yes that's right, but with a slight difference. This is a enhancement program for THP engines, meaning the items have not failed or defective as other car manufactures. My car has performed very well the last 4 years, but under this program 5 items were changed. There is immediate improvement in fc, and am sure there's more if I carefully vetted them. Hi skyjack,I assume Peugeot France QC had detected certain components not manufactured according to their standards, hence has come up with this enhancement program. Hence it's really not a recall but rather an enhancement. Thx for the explaination bro! |

Hi sifus. has anyone here ever claim for front windscreen under Etiqa? My coverage is 2k. Is it sufficient enough to cover the glass and tint?
My car is 6 years already. I don’t think I need the original replacement. It’s far more pricey. Anyways, the non original one cost how much ya? Appreciate with the feedbacks Tq |
