yep. after those messages, usually it will still 'register' your sim as active till you reboot the sim.

It seem like alot of people is connecting Magic Sim with MIFI or USB WIFI moderm.. smile.gif
Wanna fully utilize the free internet smile.gif
Try to contact the CS to find out why lol. that the only way.
Managed to use the sim card now?
Last time when I port from other telco, Celcom did inform me that they will port me from other telco to Celcom.
But Celcom didnot inform me that I had port successfully.. as long as the new sim card is activated and the old sim card cannot be use anymore then that means porting successful.

I'm still using my old sim now, it is still active....

if your old sim still activated than it might means there is some problem with your porting.
You have to check with CS to find out why lol.

A newly-bought Magic SIM pack?

When I got mine from Blue Cube, it's already activated by the time I stepped out of the shop, sat down, then set it up in my phone.

Quick questions here. Plan on porting from a Maxis prepaid Sim to this Magic Sim and subscribing to the monthly RM25 plan. Need to know, are the allocated 75 calls & 75 SMS for all networks or just within Celcom's? Also, does purchasing this plan give 1 full month of validity from date of purchase?

Can't seem to find on the website about the 75 calls & 75 SMS, but I remember someone has mentioned it somewhere here.

Anyway, subscribing to an Internet plan does not extend the validity of the SIM card:

http://www.xpax.com.my/internettnc

4. Subject to Clause 3 (a) above:
You will not be able to use the Internet Service if your account is in Grace Period. For clarity, “Grace Period” shall mean fifty (50) days from the expiry of the validity period of your account. You may only continue to use the Internet Service once you perform a reload during the Grace Period;

You'll still have to ensure your account is active (via reload or whatever) in order to use the data over those 30 days.

Thanks for the reply, I actually did read their T & C, but wanted to confirm from real users on how exactly it worked. Technically in order to subscribe for the RM25 1GB plan, one will reload about RM30 which gives 30 days validity, was hoping if one subscribed a few days before the validity period expires, it'd reset the validity period to another 30 days. "• FREE Calls & SMS and FREE Internet Burung Hantu are only for customers on Magic SIM™". That's the info displayed on their website regarding the free calls and SMS, doesn't exactly clarify it's to all networks. The word "for" probably means the free calls and SMS are only available for magic sim users and calls can be made to other networks.. Just need confirmation before porting.

I see, if it's just within Celcom, then it's not worth it for me. Was hoping it'd at least be to all networks within Malaysia.
