Hello maxis, I have ported out to digi on the 1st of october, and until now maxis keeps rejecting the port out submission by digi. I am not tied to any contract with maxis at all. Maxis must pay for the pro-rated days im still stuck with maxis until the port out is successful. How am i to go about waiving the charges????

Hi thiri56,

this is ridiculous

my supplementary line is on the different account of my principle line. what a joke.

now after call up with a much helpful CS, i went to digi centre again to request them to submit request to port over again

this time, i get the confirmation request to port over almost instantly after digi submit it.

funny thing is, when I call to request to separate my number to another account, they did not tell me that my this particular number got a supplementary line under it

when I live chat with a CS asking can I request to port out now after I separate my number to another line, the CS told me that I can

now I just hope everything goes fine this time

Hi,

You will be charged prorated if line ported out in the middle of billing cycle. Kindly walk in to the nearest other telco service centres & request to port out. TQ

called maxis wanted to port out,

they offered RM68 for 5GB unlimited call & sms (maxis one plan 158), RM88 for 7GB unlimited call & sms (1st 6 month 8GB) (maxis one plan 188).

Supp-line RM48 unlimited call & sms, supp-line can get RM68 / RM88 same as principal also.

Their strategy
1) Do not come out with cheaper plan that compete with other telco, existing customer continue to pay higher price. - Good for Maxis.
2) Give huge discount to maintain the non-loyal customer (who are porting out) - to maintain customer number.
3) Loyal customers who stay end up paying same price (higher price than non-loyal customer) - Good for Maxis annual revenue report.

This strategy only good for Maxis and non-loyal customer.
Loyal customers will be mad if found out these are true, so Maxis remain silence and only counter offer those who want to port out.

So why be a loyal customer where non-loyal customer has more benefit than u?

Hello Maxis,

I've been a customer for about 10years already. Why can't I get this kind of package?

Been using Maxis for the past 10 years. Paying RM 50 for 2gb Internet doesn't make any sense now.

Sad that I have to leave them after 10 years but glad that I've switch to another telco.
