called maxis wanted to port out,

they offered RM68 for 5GB unlimited call & sms (maxis one plan 158), RM88 for 7GB unlimited call & sms (1st 6 month 8GB)  (maxis one plan 188).

Supp-line RM48 unlimited call & sms, supp-line can get RM68 / RM88 same as principal also.

Hmm, so they're literally practicing discriminatory pricing policy now eh

Their strategy
1) Do not come out with cheaper plan that compete with other telco, existing customer continue to pay higher price. - Good for Maxis.
2) Give huge discount to maintain the non-loyal customer (who are porting out) - to maintain customer number.
3) Loyal customers who stay end up paying same price (higher price than non-loyal customer) - Good for Maxis annual revenue report.

This strategy only good for Maxis and non-loyal customer.
Loyal customers will be mad if found out these are true, so Maxis remain silence and only counter offer those who want to port out.

So why be a loyal customer where non-loyal customer has more benefit than u?

No point being loyal eh Maxis?

Confirm or not?
My husband thinking of porting out to Celcom because of the RM80 plan. He won't mind paying RM88 for the 188 plan from Maxis.

Why would you want to stay with a telco carrier that does not even bother about their loyal customers? This should have been offered to customers who have been with Maxis for a long time - not for customers who wished to port out.
