Some say it's not automatic extension BUT allowed to request for extension.
Best to clarify with IRB... why procastinate to submit ?

Typical Malaysian just love to wait till last minute to submit e-BE ... Either way you have to PAY.
When IRB server jams up, put the blame on IRB (or Govt).... Remember the "tortoise and hare story"

Recieved feedback email from LHDN :

From: CallCentre [mailto:callcentre@hasil.gov.my]
Sent: Saturday, March 17, 2012 10:37 AM
Subject: RE: Rebate pembelian komputer [T2012031500DAS010Z1493098]

Salam sejahtera,

Sekian dimaklumkan.

1) Claim RM68 x 12 (max per year = RM500). DiGi should provide a year end tax statement for tax purposes. Ask them for it.

2) Max you can claim is RM6000.

Penalties are very heavy for late filing. These are the new rulings on penalties implemented since about middle of last year. It's 20% of the tax payable (I think it's crazy, so do it early). Another new ruling just came by is if the the tax return is filled incorrectly , the tax form will be returned to you and deemed as not filed and you run the risk of having filed the tax return late.

So don't 'play play' with this.

Subsidised interest for housing, education or car loan is fully exempted from tax if the total amount of loan taken in aggregate does not exceed RM300,000. If the total amount of loan exceeds RM300,000, the amount of subsidized interest to be exempted from tax is limited in accordance with the following formula:
