Desktop .. Did a clean uefi install windows 10 pro 64bit.
Luckily from my previous w7 n the way i manage things.  Exact replica of 8.1..

So far hmmm noticed a few games.. My cpu is stressed more. But abit hard to gauge compare to what i see with z5. W10 z5 cpu temps frequently higher than gpu.
Wasnt like that with 8.1.

Anybody else notice the difference??

Did a fresh win10 Pro installation on my 860m Z5.

So far performance seems better? Not sure if placebo effect. laugh.gif
Temperature no comment as I don't play the latest games.

SSD is always recommended for your OS drive, just that for me, well, no money no talk - as usual sweat.gif I went for 7200rpm 1TB HDD.
Ideally it's having SSD for drive C and HDD for drive D.

We're the same bro.. 1tb hdd as main storage.. just got a little budget more so I opt to buy msata ssd.. thinking buying 120 or 250gb for the os,antivirus, office etc.. just want to choose something good with price/performance ratio..

Games like GTA5 takes up at least 70GB after installation if not mistaken, 500GB is puny.

Oh, that buzzing noise i hear when i plug headphones into my laptop, that is static noise eh? My current old laptop had it for some time but i cant figure out why. It's like Im hearing the sounds of parts in a machine/laptop operating.

for ur case..better to get m sata although is it slightly expensive than ram..but ur speed will increase tremendously over the 1tb hdd..

8gb ram is enough at the moment for the apps and softwares at this time and in near future
