SSD is always recommended for your OS drive, just that for me, well, no money no talk - as usual  I went for 7200rpm 1TB HDD.
Ideally it's having SSD for drive C and HDD for drive D.

Games like GTA5 takes up at least 70GB after installation if not mistaken, 500GB is puny.

i also thinking about msata, but i think i will invest in another 8GB to make it 16GB ram.

Hi Andrew, my default setting is auto full screen mode. Cause when i click the game it direct open as full screen mode. It can play but no smooth like ultra street fighter IV. For me quite laggy. By the way i got blue screen for the gforce driver 361.91. Just for your info.
