so not in air cond environment, that's pretty good.
m550 seem to suffer a bit on mine, when it load up to 50c then it hardly drop back even just idle...looks likes mx200 improve a lot on the temperature control.

From what I read there is no significant advantage using skylake CPU for gaming same as using DDR4.

6700HQ VS 4720HQ

maybe a little bit cooler and bigger bandwidth? hmm.gif

At the moment Z5 don't have Gsync function. Asus is 17inc screen Z5 is 15 inch. Asus weight 4.8kg but Z5 is 2.4kg. If you have the budget better get Illegear S5 that have Gsync option with better GPU 980m but most fork out 500 more then the price of Asus. It at depend on your taste and budget you have. biggrin.gif

well. i guess my budget isnt overly high i mean im lookinh 1500usd. but as far as preferences go, i want a laptop with really good cooling. and i saw tht z5 seemed ok. i know the asus one is reputable for its coolin. i was just wondering bout the gsync since it wasn't mentioned. also how often does illegear have promotions? like the October promotion going on?

yes, my usage is for heavy gaming. I tend use for long hours. my previous laptop gpu melted out. but the cooling system wasnt that great on tht. so now im prioritizing on the cooling system, then the specs, and warranty/aftersale services and then looks in that specific order. the z5 did catch my attention.

Hi Taycio,

The Z5 is has one of the best cooling systems among 960M/970M range laptops smile.gif

Do drop by http://www.illegear.com/getting-here to test the laptop cooling with some games.
