Guys, bank already give the offer letter to my dealer. And my downpayment also paid to them. So the dealer said need to wait for the road tax, I called jpj, they said usually one day will do. Why my dealer can't promise me for me to take my car tmr?

Hi guys. Just got my Iriz about more than 2 weeks ago. I wanna ask about it's follow me home lights. I drive 1.6 exec one.

How come i cannot use the FMH lights? I heard that the FMH lights are only for premium but mine already got that thing in its place but it doesn't seem to project lights from it whyyyy

For me, to activate it I'll double press lock on the remote. But to permanently have it active, might need to refer manual.

what is runner fee? I already bought the plate number which is PMG xxxx

number plate from jpj the rm210 is not included in downpayment right?

Btw runner fees = Once u buy number from jpj, hand it to your SA, then SA will need to register your number plate to your car (engine+chasis no.) at jpj along with a valid motor insurance. Then only your car will be registered under JPJ and get the road tax. So instead of going 1 by 1 to jpj, they collect it one shot give the runner who will then go to JPJ to do all the car registration stuffs. That's the runner fee. (included in downpayment already)

Example: If you didn't buy number plate on your own and ask your SA to get it, SA will pass the job to the runner to go jpj buy it and will usually charge RM310 for it.

hahah no bro. All these jobs usually distributed to runner to do one. Most car dealerships have their own appointed runner to do JPJ-related stuffs. It saves the dealer time, instead of having to go jpj for each and every car they sell.


Btw, SA still have to check your car before can deliver to you to make sure everything is fine with the car. So maybe thats why u wont get it exactly the next day after your road tax is done. Then if your SA got give free tinting all those, he have to send the car go tinting as well. So it takes few more days.

Personally for me, I rather wait few more days and let SA kaotim everything properly than to rush him. If you rush him he may not do a satisfactory job, in the end, you lose because problems may occur, SA also lose cause his reputation on the line (with exception of some salesman who are really those couldn't be bothered type who dont care at all and just want to close sales.)

The engineer told me that the gearbox mounting is different for the 6MT...so a bit difficult to change...

Fmh light on my 1.3 exec is working without issue..
To use it u need to turn off the engine and the light first..and then turn on and off the headlamp back..the fmh will activate for a couple of minutes then

I received my new iriz last 2 weeks ago.

Since it is a Proton with infemes various teething quality issue but i don't expect it within 1st 3years ever since my confident level give a thumb up when bought Exora 6years ago.

I'm already puzzling why can't proton give the hardcopy version of the infotainment system manual instead of refer its softcopy location inside the helpfile?
I'm searching high and low in internet as well as blaupunkt website but the model iriz using not available...sigh......

Need help where I able to download the manual file (pls don't instruct me to use the suprima-s manual as current iriz using another model)

The radio giving headache with intermittent no sound even after off and on again.
I notice whenever I didn't fully off & lock the car (i mean arm the alarm and go out from the car as I staying inside the car waiting for my wife come from office. average about 20mins but sometime my wife work late and I waited until 1hour). The radio as well as media player will not output any sound but the display showing it is working. Activate the gps is ok and there is even sound to be hear.

Anyone encounter this issue before?

I had the same issue once, took a video of it, planning to get SC to replace the thing. I also have weird bluetooth issues where the connection just randomly drops

It seem I have to send to SC this weekend and file a complaint. (since need to do the 1000km service)

Yesterday just manage to reboot the radio system and the sound comeback alive (by setting the area and touch the country).
Damage: all the preset radio station frequency reset to default...
