Hey guys, I have a question.

I've had my car for 3 days now. I have the 1.6 Premium MT. When you park you should put the car in reverse gear so that the gear gets locked in reverse for security. If you don't do that, and you just leave it in neutral and attempt to lock the car, two things will happen (to me at least).

1. When I exit the car and close the door, it will begin to beep every one second until I open the door again.

2. When I open the door, the car will stop beeping and when I close it again there's no more beeping. However! When I lock the car (in neutral) it will lock the doors and the gear lock will attempt to lock the reverse gear about 5 times. You can hear the servo locking and unlocking, then it stops.

Has any of you had this happen? icon_question.gif Is this supposed to be like this? I don't mind leaving the car in reverse to lock, but if I could just leave it in neutral it should also be fine, it should be up to the user.

Also, it has happened to me twice that the car locks the gear but when you start the car you can't take it out of reverse, so you need to switch the car off, open the door, unlock the car with the keyfob and then the gear will unlock. I've read the manual, I haven't found any way of disabling the reverse locking feature. rclxub.gif

On a different topic:

If I park outside and I'm waiting for my girlfriend to come out of her house. I switch the engine off, the radio is still playing and such but after about... 10 minutes? The car will switch everything off, so I need to switch the car back on, is there any way to keep the accessories on without having to start the engine again?

Thanks for your inputs

1. Premium uses keyless entry so theres no key folding. This doesnt effect your choice.
2. If you get this problem then can send to SC and get it replaced for free. Proton acknowledged this problem saying that factory calibration make it over sensitive.
4. Cant do anything about it except replace with other ones.
5. Rare case.
6. Rare case.

Press your start button (once or twice, forgot which, if once doesn't work, it should be twice laugh.gif) without pressing your brakes, it should go to accessories mode.

is Rm520.65

calculation method lilke this :

27,000 x 3.14% =Rm847.80 <--interest per annum
Rm847.x80 =RM4239 <-- interest for 5yr

Rm4239+ Rm27000 = RM31239 ( total interest + loan amount )

Rm31239 / 60 = total divide by 60 months (5yr x 12 months ) = RM520.65

The glove box has been like that since savvy. I always wondered did they left the glove box under the sun before installing it because it has never flushed with the dash. I thought come Iriz they have fixed this.

yours doesn't close evenly too? I'm wondering if there is any fix for it. Like taking it out and adjusting it back again or something like that.
