I just bought an Iriz 1.6 MT Premium (Black)! First time buying a car so very Excited!!

I like it very much and need some advice on the following from all the Sifu..

1. How do we know the Iriz we purchased come with 7 Yrs Warrantee?
My SA told me it come with 7 Yrs Warrantee and only able to give me a sales memo showing October Promo has 7 Yrs Warrantee. I do not have any offical document and the manual only shows 5 yrs.

2. Are we suppose to get some kind of Insurance Documents with the car on delivery? My SA says it will be in the POS but I am yet to receive anything and its has been more than a week now.

By the way, I did the following for my new Iriz and it is great.
1. Change the stock tyre to Michelin PS3.
2. Windows laminated with 3M Auto Flim.

So far the car is running well but have a few issues:
1. Slight rattles on the dash board but it does not happen consistently.
2. Change gear to Reverse can be noisy (some weird metal noise).
3. Reverse camera can be flickering sometimes.
4. The head rest at rear seats has faulty release button. Cannot be depressed to move it up and down.
5. Rear seat-belt not buckled warning come on even though no one is sitting at the back.

I am looking for a good place to get a fitting 3M floor mats. I am in Sri Petaling area. Any suggestion?

the reverse camera flicker you mention, it happen only when the surrounding is dark or happen on bright sunny day also?

ahaha. My speakers volume is memang set at 10 for me. But the volume still fluctuates. Maybe if you set a higher volume (>10) you feel no fluctuation cause volume already loud.

nope even now is i fetch my parents and family will put soft, the volume stops fluctuating.. give it some time maybe a month or two should fix it

I have a Iriz 1.6MT and strongly believe it is a much better car than Myvi. Go and test drive both and you will feel the difference!

I noticed the flickering while I am in an in door car park. However, it does not happen all the time, that is the frustrating part! How to show and complaint to SC?

Mine flickered the first month. Now after 3 months I didn't notice it anymore

gt into an accident and damaged the front of my car, now already send in to proton... wonder how much the cost of repair... I dun hv a photo, phone left at home.
bumper torn, bonnet crooked, lights came off, centre grill smashed, inside dunno how.. going to hv to get replacement car, but proton said dun hv such service for accident cases... made police report, need settle summon,then claim. insurance and then NCD gone... but wonder is it worth it compared to the repair cost..

if indoor then its normal. atill remember last time cheap mobile phone camera will also have some sort of flickering on screen in dark environment.

Hi any Iriz owner with 7 yrs warrantte? I like to find out what proof do you have to show your Iriz come with 7 yrs warrantte. My SA told me my did but there is no documentation mentioned about the 7 yrs warrantte. Service manual states only 5 yrs.

Hi all sifu, I bought my Iriz 1.6MT for about a week and only drived 250km. I travelled oversea a lot and will not be back till 2 weeks later. Hence, it is unlikely for me to clocked 1000km by the 1st month. Shall I send in the car to service by the end of 1st month or just waits till I hit 1000km which I thinks will take 2-3 months.

It will void if effect the other thing. For example, I wanna change the stock springs to the lowered spring. If it will make the suspension system like absorber leak or something. It will void but change a rims they still consider on it.. One of mechanic told me...

The sa for my 1.3 std mt fix a 1.6 spoiler for rm300. So far so good. No rattling yet.
