does Taobao have free shipping discount voucher like Shopee/Lazada?

Guys,

Need some help - I've ordered a few things from taobao. recently and so far no movement since then.

I see the tracking info shows [KEX] - would that be KEX express?



Have tried checking with KEX but they say they do not have any such parcel - can't seem the find the KEX tracking ID anywhere.

It's been 6 days since that status but not moving.

Got free shipping for min spend ¥199. Not sure if nowadays they have other special promotions or vouchers there.

Just have to wait patiently. It'll take 2 to 3 weeks for KL.
It took longer for the package to be delivered in KL then for it to reach from China.

Thanks - e-mailed KEX and they said they couldn't find any details and denied that they collected anything with my address.


Item reached yesterday and they wrote another e-mail saying that they're expediting the delivery.

Did you use air or sea freight?

You're tracking your order in the web, you need to use the mobile app to get the local tracking number
The web version does not display the local tracking number. Something that starts with CNMYG/CNMYA/CNMYB
CNMYG - GDex
CNMYA - KEX
CNMYB - Best Express
Direct air freight

How about TMYLE?

8 days is good, i tried to use sea freight, it has been 16 days since it is shipped, the status still show cleared at port klang since 4 days ago.

TMYLE is using Lazada Express, so unfortunately, you won’t be able to track it directly. You'll need to wait or track it through the Taobao web or Taobao mobile apps.

I’ve spoken to Lazada's customer service before, and they confirmed that tracking isn’t possible without a Lazada order ID

Just got some update after messaging the Cainiao customer service... in fact the tracking starts with TMYLE is not Lazada Express, it is actually Best Express.

I highly doubt that. The correct tracking number for Best Express is CNMYB, not TMYLE.
Unless they recently change this.

One user even confirmed meeting the delivery guy when receiving his TMYLE parcel, and it was indeed from Lazada Express.

As for my TMYLE parcel, it was delivered to my office and left at the guardhouse, so I didn’t personally meet the delivery guy.

Concur. TMYLE is definitely Lazada delivery.

Not always the case.

During the MCO, I bought a lot of liquid cooling components for my gaming PC from Taobao without checking Shopee or Lazada first. Later, I decided to do liquid cooling for my home server as well, and this time I checked Shopee and Lazada. To my surprise, the prices were significantly cheaper—I could have saved around RM200 to RM300 if I had purchased from them instead.

While some things are definitely cheaper on Taobao, not everything is. Taobao is great for finding rare items that you might not find on Shopee or Lazada.

Taobao nowadays their local shipping is pretty slow and sometimes suffer delay. Back then so quick. Btw like the guy above said, you still should check local pricing because sometimes things are cheaper on LZD and Shoppee.

Hi guys, i’m from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah planning to buy furniture (bed frame set) from Taobao. Any recommended third party sea shipping delivery to my address or just use the taobao app is best?

Consider buying furniture locally. These are bulky DIY items, and returning them to China could be a real hassle if anything is missing or broken during shipment.

On a different note, it's been a while since I last received a CNMYG tracking number. In my experience, the best and fastest shipping was when Taobao used DHL eCommerce as their last-mile delivery partner, with GDex being the second best.

Local furniture store’s selection doesn’t quite suit my taste and vision for my home. That’s why i opt to take risks buy furniture online. Anyways, do you have any idea of a good third party shipping agent/app or using taobao website’s own shipping will give me the best rate?
