Still seeing lots of complaints in GDex facebook page
My previous purchase through Taobao > GDex, GDex only deliver my parcel 2 weeks after released by Malaysian Customs

Probably the same this time around, kena tunggu 2 minggu lah, no choice

Maybe. Or maybe they had to do daily flights now that people are buying online lots more than usual

Thanks all, btw it's weird the 3% charge is still there even though it shows the 3% is free in this period

when i was using desktop browser to make payment, TB forced me to pay with AliPay with the 3% fee.

Then i switched to TB mobile, changed region to Malaysia, set payment method to "outside China", only then it waived the 3% for me.

Desktop = Revpay
Mobile App = MOLPay

MOLPay waive the service charge, Revpay don't.

Hmm but I use the mobile app still got 1.5% for bank transfer and 3% for credit card so I used bank transfer in the end 😔

Im not Taobao expert, i just did my first transaction today, so what i say might be wrong ah. Actually i dont know whether windows browser taobao can waive or not, at least it didn't offer me other payment options.

This is what i did on Taobao mobile app. First change region to Malaysia.


Then, proceed to checkout your item. At checkout/confirmation page, u can select payment method.


As mentioned by other user here, the waiver happens during special events only. It is happening from 1/6 to 3/6 i think. And you will have to claim it somewhere else before you enjoy the waiver.

My item is still at:
Arrived Airline HUB MALAYSIA
since 30 May 2020.

While I see others have been processed and dispatched early this month. Anyone in the same boat as myself?

I used to opt for air delivery every single time but recently the only option I have is sea shipment regardless of items that I select. Anybody know why is it?

P/S : I’m from east Malaysia

My parcel is already trackable in GDex
Looks like GDex no longer have overloaded parcel issue

some item are not able to ship with air delivery. But for what kind of item, i donno also

I also thought that way in the beginning.

But has been confirmed by taobao customer service agent that East Malaysia has banned all air freight since 18th of March.

Until date,they didn't receive any notice of resume the service yet.

So I guess the only option I have currently is sea shipping.

Not sure how long would it takes to reach me though.

before MCO, sea shipping for East Malaysia usually 4 weeks based on the feedbacks on the thread

Tracking numbers starts with CNMYG?
If it's correct, 3 weeks is the tops for GDex to deliver items, check with GDex helpline

If nothing helps, just submit for refund for lost item

Yep starts with CNMYG ordered end of April, reached Malaysia on early May until now no update...status remains "Inbound..." next step should be "custom clearance" but no update....already contact Gdex waiting for reply. I doubt they will reply anything as they havent pick up yet....

Claim refund to who? taobao? Items reached Malaysia but missing somewhere...
