anyone ever q for sg iPhone launch.hows the experience.epicentre orchard road or epicentre marina bay sands better?
*
i queued up last year for the launch in sg.
and based on previous experience, resellers in a mall u will have to line up outside the mall, not at the doorstep of the reseller.
the ip5 year, people lined up at the door and was a mess by the time u reach reseller doorstep.
so they learned that and last year gave out tickets at mall doors before opening them.
MBS is a popular place to line up.
just beware of foreign workers lining up for men with sling bags(scalpers from HK).
if too many foreign workers, ur chance of getting an iPhone is as good as over.
plus those wanting the rose gold, don't have high hopes. might be very very very limited in quantity.

Here we go again. Lol

Thinking to buy from Apple Store rather than telco. I remember how long maxis took to make i6+ available. Zzzz.
*
To be more specific, it was the availability of the 64GB i6+ that was a pain... sill remember hunting from maxis centre to maxis centre, ha ha ha....

yup i saved 1.3k when i purchased my ip6+ early this year..coupled with 300 cash back, total saving was 1.6k. so my phone cost only 1.6k for the 64gb 6plus. damn worth it.

Maybe this time will be different seeing how expensive the phones are going to be when they arrive. Then again, Apple fans will be Apple fans...

You'd be making a handsome profit if you do decide to sell and upgrade smile.gif

The savings can be quite substantial actually. I wouldn't pay over 3k outright for a phone, and for me, the commitment fee is largely paid by company so it's a no-brainer.

i don't find the new iPhone attractive in terms of features. And I'm still contracted til jan17. so ill pass. to be honest, the features of the ios9 are quite boring. no Next Big Thing from Apple. News and Apple Pay totally not usable in Malaysia. Siri is still a gimmick, coz its damn tough for siri to catch what i'm saying.

the most important aspect is pricing, which i feel is too expensive for a handphone. i would not pay above 2k for a handphone under contract. but looking at the recent iphone pricing, i feel the phone is gonna cost 3k even with contract. way above my mediocre salary smile.gif

True... But have to go through all the drama and heartbreak. We will grab some popcorn and watch it happen again this round. laugh.gif
