What's the dimension? 2ft x 1 ft tank?

QUOTE(tehoice @ Apr 11 2016, 09:41 AM)
small amount of money with huge satisfaction, i dont know what is there to screw, are you gonna eat just white bread for the rest of the month if you spend let's say 100 bucks on tank + air pump + filter + anti chlorine + salt + etc? I dont have any other filtration system apart from just an air pump with sponge filter in the tank.

dont keep asking ppl to donate leh, ribbon fishes doesnt come cheap, we bought also expensive from the start, moreover, we dont know what breed exactly are yours. fancy guppies are not supposed to mix and like i said before, you want a male ribbon fish for what? they cannot breed... buy a trio la, start your own project!  brows.gif

*
Quite satisfied when i success breeding all the albino almost lost the project cause my 2 albino male guppy went K.O left all non albino female. If you have a lovely wife that support you with anything you want then you won't know it. Mine isn't that lovely brows.gif . I think she's thinking that using money for food is better than on fish or hobby. I use less on those equipment smile.gif cause I have been keeping fish since young just all die at one point... Always reuse back those aquariums and equipments. Only sponge filter.... Use to breed shrimps also biggrin.gif but they die easier.

Hehehe, who knows you are kind to donate leh? j/k. I know Ribbon guppies are rare and expensive also cause don't see LFS sell them. Some LFS do sell if they have potential buyer. If no demand don't think the LFS will take the risk to keep them. Mine were fancy guppies also but got them with RM2.50 each so not really those high end type. Hahah, wanna try to see if they really can't breed as you say hehehe wanna prove you wrong tongue.gif Buy trio.... got someone selling ribbon at web but not sure wannna try.. cause if i do I need to get rid of my guppies to make room to breed the ribbon guppies. bangwall.gif To do or not to do cry.gif very tempting to start.

Oh, I know where to go then. Haha.
Yup, I have member there. BUT...I have to remind myself that I have no extra space at home for another 2 feet tank...although starting a guppy breeding project sounds so tempting. biggrin.gif

can get some small space to start doing it, but it will be trouble some if you keep expanding bit by bit and your stuff bought might be a waste if cannot be used.

my suggestion, get a boltless rack and start your project. the rack is so cheap, 3ft long rack cost you about 90 bucks and 120 bucks for a 4ft. which you can keep at least 10+ tanks for a 3ft type and 15+ tanks for a 4ft rack. so much cheaper than an aquarium cabinet.

only if you know what you are doing, otherwise the water condition turns bad quickly if you feed a lot.

i have about 50 - 60 fishes in a small tank like 20cm x 29cm x 25cm

i'm also using just one small sponge filter.

if you know what you are doing, then it's fine, but not recommended though.

buy some otos...

some shop may try to sell u SAE (Siamese algae eater), but stick to otos if you have a choice.
SAE can become lazy and just share food with your guppies.
