QUOTE(tehoice @ Dec 28 2015, 01:02 AM) for your fry, how old are they? if they are around 3 weeks - 1 month then it's consider quite okay. one or two only or all of them? (1 whole batch of fry). 3months+ still about 1 - 1.5cm long only how big is your tank? what are the condition? just a bare tank only for fry or? what is your feeding pattern and what do you feed? there's technic how you can get them grow really fast. usually around 2.5months should be a full adult ad, 3.5 months should be a show guppy type already. is the same batch fry about 1X fry in 3 liter container feeding them twice a day with this ![]() This post has been edited by 1qaz1qaz: Dec 28 2015, 05:31 PM |

QUOTE(tehoice @ Dec 28 2015, 01:02 AM) depending on the size of the mother, some can give birth over 100+ fry, virgin mom usually 10-20 for the first time and the number will increase subsequently. adult fish will eat all the fry, so please separate the mother to a labour room and separate the fry. this way, the guppy can be protected and grow faster. and for some reason my guppy (1m & 2f) about a months+ nowand non of the female show any sign of pregnancy |

QUOTE(tehoice @ Dec 28 2015, 11:53 PM) hmm, the food you feed should be okay... though i never use it myself. 3 litre container a bit too small la, get at lease those 13 bucks plastic aquarium size to keep them, how often did you change water? weekly wc coz no filter how old are they? is the male chasing tail? some male may not chase at all.... what do u feed ur fry/guppy? hmm idk, get those from lfs i think atleast 6month +- when u mention it, yeah first 2 week the male like to "fvck" the female but now i hardly see him do that |

QUOTE(tehoice @ Dec 29 2015, 04:42 PM) i consider weekly water change too long... i change at least every 2 days and i feed very heavily, so the fry will grow a lot faster. whr do u get artemia brine shrimp & decapsulated brine shrimp?I feed artemia brine shrimp mainly and decapsulated brine shrimp. i can't comment for those lfs fishes, but generally we get adult fishes of 4 months or less. it's hard to get pregnant if the male fish don't chase tail. yeah lo, sienz liao thier no get pregnant myb will add another pair in to it |

QUOTE(tehoice @ Jan 5 2016, 04:49 PM) all of my tanks are bare tank. You can either allow the mother to give birth in the tank, buy a breeding box. (for reference, look at picture) that girl want bomb ady lol![]() or separate the mother out to a smaller tank, put in a breeding net, or something that can separate the mother and the fry will do. no picture at the moment. come give me those fry |
