A revolving tower, is the iconic feature of the first phase of the project, which is tipped to be another unique architectural development in Kuala Lumpur.

The project is to be developed by Taman Sari Development Corp, a joint venture company with Asie having a 20 percent stake.

The first phase of the TamanSari project which covers 3.754 hectares includes the development of the 60-storey revolving tower, 242 units of service apartments and a four-storey transportation plaza podium connected to a transportation hub.

Beside the revolving tower, another unique aspect of this project is the buildings, that would be developed to withstand earthquakes.

The planning of TamanSari or the Riverside Garden City is by renowned town-planner, Goh Hock Guan and Associates (GHG).The company was also behind the development of Kuala Lumpur's first hotel, the Federal Hotel.

According to GHG principal Goh Hock Guan, the concept and system of the revolving tower is new, and is expected to be patented.

"Besides that, the building will be specially designed to resist earthquakes of up to a magnitude of 9.2 on the Richter scale.

"For this purpose, the company has already assigned a specialist in earthquake design to the project," he stated.

GHG will also implement an environmentaly friendly design, in support of green technology in the country.

Residential units will be up for sale by early next year.

Asie 4 acres only cannot do much la. Probably some mix development only. But the pekeliling land 200m away from TR resi which is owned by some sultan will be a whole new diff story lo 😈😈😈

Above 17th floor increase 3% but new discount is 13%. Below 17th floor only 10% discount. So basically high and low floor all same now?

The one which is currently fenced up is Asie's land (next to TR)

Pekeliling land is the huge piece of land (way bigger than Asie 4 acres land) opposite TR across jalan tun razak where the MRT 2 is under construction. Something very BIG will be sitting on that prime land.

1. Bad News today was informed units from 30th flr to 34th floors bookings cancelled Reason still not known but sounds like they change mind to keep for selling higher price or to lease out for Hotel Suites or ?? . Its was very dissappointing some 12 buyers or more are affected they inform us to choose other units. Meaning they change mind plan for (24units per floor for 5floors=120 Units)

2. Obvious flaws in Lift provision for the no. of units. Most important transport (going up and down) in the condo is the real problem.

Only 1 Service Lift (Bomba/ Loading&Unloading) and 2 Passenger Lifts to serve 12 units per floor. Even RumahWip has 4 passenger lifts to serve 8 units per floor. How can 25 floors each with 12 units has only 3 lifts.

Which body or authority can we inform to highlight / check if building plan procedure has been correctly met? icon_question.gif

SA just reply plan has been approved. Since there are 2 blocks they have access to the other block so they can take lift from there. But the other block will be facing the same problem as well.

SA con you la. The reason why block A and B are connected now is because the Bomba did not approve the initial plan that Block A and B weren't connected.

Anyway it's less than 500k per unit for a 750sf which comes with 3 beds. TR is a no brainer With the surging catalyst of Asie land (can see some works going on there now) and also the redevelopment of Pekeliling land which is owned by a Sultan. Let's not forget the connectivity.

There is a wise saying that you should never invest somewhere you would to live in. I don't think it is applicable for everyone's but I don't think I would invest in a mil mil condo to enjoy it a yield cuz i would be bleeding by then.

There might be drop out don't worry. I was being kiasu and booked 3 units of 750sf myself. Not like I'm getting all 3.

Not your everyday bus stop. Its pekeliling bus hub. Many tourist buses stop there too. Also the redevelopment of the bus stop is in the pipeline.

You know la, Malaysia standard, new building can become bad in few years time. I also not prefer underneath residence got shop lots, it will turn to worst place in term of cleanliness in few years time for sure by the way Malaysian managing them.

Went to visit few places with commercial below... Most turning to lousy place, rubbish and bad smell..

I just prefer much quiet place for residence only.

I fully agree that commercials below may bring disaster than glory. Thankfully these commercials are not for sale and they will in turn kept and managed by MKH itself. Having said that not all commercials below condo are disaster. Look at tropicana avenue despite being startified commercial.

Level 30-34 (hotel suites) will be managed by MKH. The 12 units of two storey commercials below will be fully owned and managed by MKH.

The connectivity here is ridiculously good that MKH decided to pao ka Liao some units too.

But the facade like cow dunk. Haha wonder who will check in the hotel suites! Hopefully the facade will change as it's still in the very early stage as shown in the sales kit.

Or they can split the lifts to low zone and high zone.

All these measure will help a little to reduce the waiting time.

Nevertheless from purchasers and tenants POV, they normally wouldn't go too much in the details.... until when they move in.

Lift is definitely a significant issue here but what I'm looking at is that the developer is keeping 5 floors to themselves and managing them as hotel suites. To add on to that, they also reserved the retails to themselves and managing them too. I don't think that a developer will want to reserve units to themselves if a developer has got no confident in this project.

Don't know. Cheap man opinion. Don't shoot me. Learning from all the many many guru here. 😅
