Hello guys, I'm 2 Card Gold user for 5year now, and the only and main CC for myself since I seldom swipe much. Yeah very very up sad with the recent CB revise, but good thing is the card is no annual fee and the 5x for amex still valid.

Now I'm thinking, shall I upgrade my card to 2 Card Platinum or Maybank Visa Signature (VS). The most concern for me for the VS card is the annual fee, Rm500+ (sounds a bit scary) but love the rebate and the "signature" status lolz! haiz..

as long as your income meet the requirement then you can apply for upgrade.

If you are qualified for Signature card, but worry about AF, I recommend PBB VS.

yeah, PBB VS requirement a bit higher than MBB, hmm.. but can try apply 1st if not then get MBB VS. Just feel that MBB VS looks more 'classy' design

MBB VS is free for the first year anyway. You can just apply and enjoy the CB for 12 months before cancelling it if you've decided not to pay by then

I re-think back this MBB VS card requirement is earning 70k-100k /yr, then they want this range of ppl to spend 50k on the card only can waive off the AF.. lolz!

Wanna pay RM500+ for 'status' then go ahead =) may I recommend buying a nice gentleman's watch though. Better investment than using a credit card (which only cashier will see, don't think that's the person you trying to impress) as 'status'.

For me, use the card is for the benefits. If benefits not worth >> RM500, why should I pay free money to Maybank?

it used to be 50k, but they just revised it to 30k then after 2 weeks then again revised back to 50k.

so now is 50k spend to waive RM 550.
