I went to Universal travellers and WinterTime Sunway Pyramid last weekend and I can tell you their winter jackets were all China made but price it RM300+/-. Glove selling at RM49. I bought in china RM10 nia can use liau.
Thank you for the info.
Is better to keep warm than sorry. After catching cold no more fun liao. Wasted more money than just the price of down jacket.
But huiyin, whats is the pricing of down jacket in Busan ?
That's my priority. The tree background is so very the famous.  I must take the 12 mega pixels picture ( the highest pixel setting of my digital camera) with me and my GF riding a bicycle, then come back print it out big big and frame it up on the wall.  My GF will sure drop death sayang me liao wub.gif  wub.gif
Note: I've never watch Winter Sonata the drama.

but sometimes if you don't have enough zoom power, you can still crop the picture if the resolution is high to get a good print.

Guys/gals,

Just got myself 3 Down jackets at Going Places (GP) BU Centrepoints & also Universal Travelers (UT) Y'day.. 10% discount on down jackets at UT & GP, 20% at Winter Times but their jacket so heavy and cheapest RM369..after discount still more expensive than the lighter 10% discounted at GP & UT. UT, even having 30-40% discount on Down jackets but too bad guys down already grabbed..only left ladies' downs...which I bought earlier at GP sad.gif ...B4 discount, UT & GP cheapest at RM299 & RM249 respectively.. smile.gif

Almost complete liao.. rclxms.gif except mittens, wool socks & probably hot pack & still wondering need leather winter padded shoes or not. UT selling children size for RM90 & adult for ~ RM110 hmm.gif

WT got 20% -lah but the cheapest at RM369..after discount = RM295.

UT the 30-40% discount only for ladies down. Guys only 10% anyway the have the cheapest RM299 down & after discount = RM269. Sumore that light down is 90% vera piuma goose down & 10% feather..goose down I heard the best compare to duck down..hmnnn not sure..haha

For other accesories, I think Goin Places much cheaper (BU centrepoint)..Even their socks only RM19.90 b4 discount..cheaper than those in UT & WT.

End of the year- sked no more sales liao..so better get now..bcos they know end of the year ppl sure go Holiday & no winter sale period? well not sure..Just that I abit kiasu now haha

My friend got me the Malaysian Independent Tourists' Guide to Korea and the Korea Tourist Map too! I was thinking if I can fit most of the places into my schedule. I will be going to Korea on 6th - 14th Dec. It will be the same, like others, where I will reach at about 9.15 pm at night. Maybe I will spend my first night at the aiport or takes the subway if I would be able to make it by 11.45 pm, or the standard limousine bus of which I think the bus would be a more appropriate choice?

I will be going on a backpack style too! Try to spend as little as possible (excluding shoppings, haha) with my friend. She's kinda thrifty too. We thought of following tour, but it is costly. About RM 2000 at least for 8 days 7 nights where all the itineraries are the same for all the travel agencies. And I thought of not going to Jeju Island as it will be better to go in autumn I guess?

I think I will be staying at Bangrang Hostel. It only cost 20k won per night per person for a double room with shared bathroom.

Definitely going to Everland! (I'm still a kid in me). Not sure if I should go to the Lotte World, but I think either one will be alright. I would want to visit the Joseon-era places like Namsangol Hanok Village, Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, and The Royal Tombs. I will like Gyeonggi-do! Not sure if my friend wants to visit these historical places though, I will plan again soon. Not to mention the DMZ too! Oh man, I think I can spend a week in Andong! Haha.

I found some information from the official site, about travelling to Jeju Island package (domestic travel). This is the cheapest rate I managed to find.
[CNP TRAVEL]
Jeju Trolley 2N3D Tour 05/24/2010 ~ 12/31/2010
2 Night 3 Days Jeju-do, ₩ 286,000

Also, to the Ski Resort. You can click HERE to see the package. ₩ 125,000 per person.

good luck travelling to everland. please please do research before hand as it would be abit difficult to take the bus if you have no basic korean (just incase you get lost and need to ask the bus driver) + all the signs on the bus are in korean.

although i would recommend lotte world in winter (very large indoor park) but i heard everland is good during winter too (sledding and stuff) but if u decide to go during winter, make sure you bring warm clothes coz its all out door! + dunno if any rides would be closed or not due to snow (just in case)
