Got few options..
1st is like -Hzu- said, muscle memories. But this need you to reach touch typing level.
2nd is get high contrast keycap for those 2 key (V, B), example a green and a blue, other keycaps remain black.
3rd is buy a table lamp, which is recommended as well, although looks nonsense from a perspective of advice.

I recommend the 2nd option.

The drawbacks of 1st option is when you type, your muscle remember, but if you want to find a certain key in your keyboard.
You will have a hard time.
Note: I'm a touch typist using modified dvorak layout

Drawback of third option, if you have roommate or siblings, just don't use table lamp.

thanks for suggestion, actually now i was thinking to get the rainbow pbt set from taobao.

1.i able to do some touch type, problem is that v and b are both under same finger and if i go back to f to feel the little groove before going back v or b its slowing down.

2. rainbow keycap are they have enough contrast?

3. nah, limited light, anymore will disturb my grandma

1. Ya. That's the habit of touch type; index fingers tend to return to homing once a key is pressed. Which is a very good practice.

2. Ya, as long as V and B key are different in color.

unfortunately it's only clear acrylic option with optional sandblasted finish for frosted matte finishing.
yes, it's mainly to diffuse the led.

Oh, just worried it will be too glaring if the in switch leds are on.
Will probably get one anyway. biggrin.gif

When does the order close and when will it ship?

Guys, I'm looking at buying my first mech kb. I want a reliable ones, expect it to last 10 years and have backlighting at around USD100-150. My usage will be a lot of typing. I have narrowed the models to these:
1. Ducky one
pros:
- std bottom row keys
- abs double shot key caps
cons:
- blue led. I'd like red ones

2. corsair vengeance k70
- lots of features
cons:
- non standard bottom rows

3. logitech g710+
pros
- lots of features
cons:
issues with key caps breaking with minimal usage

There are other models such as cooler master quickfire, deck hassium/francium, kb paradise and tesoro but I am not sure how good they are.

What do you guys think? Any other models worth mentioning?

Ya, 3 of them can last 10 years, but not the LED. smile.gif
LED 1 year is expected, last 2 years is fortunate, last 3 years you must pray because too lucky.
All listed except tesoro are good as long as they adapt Cherry MX switches.
If you only want for typing, then go for KB Paradise V60, fully utilise for typing.

If you can accept non-backlit, I will recommend you Filco Majestouch 2 TKL which still within your budget.

Life, man. Can't do anything. Just a few more days before I can enjoy my new set of keycaps.

Gonna try them with and without O-rings. How they feel and how they sound. Gonna have to memorise the layout of this keyboard first before then. Those are blank keycaps lol, the new ones.
