QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 18 2015, 07:02 PM) i like the leather palm rest. mine was a ducky but after a few years of use, the chaffing eventually separated the pads holding the thin metalic plate in between. a more durable wrist rest would be like the wooden one i see some use. but i'm doubtful wood will be as comfortable as leather :/ PS: you want a wrist rest that won't slide too much. But my question remains unanswered ? are there any seller locally that sells ducky wrist rest ? i can't find any..... if possible i'd want to try your ducky wrist rest too....

QUOTE(nikaizad @ Dec 19 2015, 12:49 AM) guys i wonder whats the cheapest mechanical for making a gift . dont care if not cherry switch. Christmas gift? If your budget is below 250, you'll need to order from China / Taobao and it won't arrive in time (unless you look for a secondhand item... but nobody gives secondhand sh*t as gifts) If you have 300+ to spare then it would be easier. It all depends on your budget.

QUOTE(r3nt4p @ Dec 18 2015, 06:50 PM) Hi guys, wondering if anyone can point me to a good keyboard wrist rest in malaysia (available locally ?) i'm using a CM storm Rapid-I, its been fine but i was using a logitech mx keyboard for years (6-7) before this and the lack thereof a wrist rest is killing me.... Note that it is a tenkey-less keyboard.... the only thing i found is this... http://www.lelong.com.my/tt-esports-wrist-...7-01-Sale-I.htmand its too long, if nothing else available, i might just buy this and cut it.... so that it fits see here

Hi sifus, I'm thinking of getting myself a Cherry MX Blue keyboard for Christmas, any suggestions? I've never own one before, so hoping to get some recommendations here.
Preference: - TKL - No fixed budget, maybe something around RM500.

With that budget, I recommend you to get Filco Majestouch 2 TKL Cherry MX Blue. It's a non-backlit keyboard. But the typing feel is heavenly. The pricing last time is RM 369 for a TKL. You need to add GST for now.

I understand those are less recommended here due to non-standard layout, but I doubt I'll be going down the modding route anytime soon

A lot of people said buttons like the CTRL, Windows, ALT, Spacebar and stuff are not matching for the Blackwidow and other Cherry MX compatible switches.

Or you can just find a set for only the characters and find other sets for the modifiers.

QUOTE(azsassin @ Dec 19 2015, 09:05 PM) where can i find full layout mechanical kb keycaps? The one that is very active in this very own thread is StoreUni (@quovadis123). http://www.storeuni.com/collections/keycaps-setThere are also some others, but most of them are the usual Tai Hao keycaps. I believe Ultimate.Zone sells PBT keycaps too.

How about the x1.5 Keycaps(CTRL & ALT) and x1 keycaps(Windows,FN key & that "square thing"key ), Any idea where to buy them or what keyword should i use to search in Taobao? Shine through White/Silver/Gold colour PBT if possible. This post has been edited by Nursh: Dec 22 2015, 08:48 AM
