Would like to check for Citi Bank prestige card.. is that RM1000 yearly fee able to waive?

a friend of mine got that card... apparently he managed to get it waived.

The maximum cashback for citibank cashback card is? i was reading at comparehero that says
--10% Monthly Cashback capped at RM40

So If i were to use RM4000 one month i would only get a RM40 cashback?

I'm not sure if you're the card benefits correctly.
In order to trigger for 10%, your min spending for the statement month needs to reach RM 1k (normal)/ 1.5k (Platinum).

RM 10/15 cash rebate capped for Petrol/Dining/Groceries/Grab catergory.
0.2% unlimited cash rebate for others

The free ride home is still one of the best in the market. Even WM cannot compare lul as my ride home is normally around 120 while WM has a cap of 80 per month only

I almost made a mistake just now - forgot to use citibank card at payment, but picked the existing card added in Shopee. Cancel it at OTP page.
Redo it after adding Citibank card and yes, it's RM1.

I tried to do in Citibank Online (Web).
This is the error message I got:

Unless u know ur card number and the expiry month/year, maybe u can active in advanced. Or if u have Citibank Online maybe u can see the card appear in ur account and activate it.

check with your app, whether you have set to receive notification via app. that might be the reason. btw, not always it will tell you to go for pay with points via sms, sms costs them tho.

use the points for airmiles worth the most
