QUOTE(bunzbunz @ Jan 30 2018, 09:18 PM) Wondering if anyone faced the same situation. My annual fee only got half waived. 4 years holding the clear card. Just found out that some people rarely use the card but got full waiver. This is not luck but double standard! I use my card quite often, min 1k a month. Don’t talk about 12 times a year, swiping 12 times a month is not even an issue. It’s not about that 40 over bucks but this is unfair due to their double standard. Contacted via live chat, standard answer being given. Until I said I’m filing a complaint with bank negara, they finally tell me that they’ll get an officer to contact me in x working days. Wanted to know if you’re in the same situation, will you just accept what it is and move on? Most probably your answer is cancel the card, there are a lot of banks offering. Yes, this is what initially I plan to do but I don’t want to tolerate with this double standard. same here... but i am reluctant to give up the benefits: 1. evergreen points 2. unlimited PPL access 3. free complimentary ride from klia why are they doing this to a loyal customer but treated others differently ? QUOTE(bearbear @ Jan 31 2018, 05:02 PM) and citibank has wide range of frequent flyer program for miles conversion when were you been charged for AF? they rejected your waiver outright? for 2 years straight after using it for 4 years, first 2 years full waiver they only gave me 2 options: 1. redeem with 30k points, which they will give 10k points for free at the beginning 2. pay half of AF really don't understand

QUOTE(bearbear @ Jan 31 2018, 05:43 PM) I was only on my second year so ya Half is not as bad, those miles are worth 130 bucks (i value miles at 2 cents per mile). a few limo ride you have got your money back. but some reported here not spending as much as me and yet still got full waiver... am i really that bad luck ? i called before the AF charge, and they told me to call close to AF charge date. So i did that but result was the same This post has been edited by lyc1982: Jan 31 2018, 05:45 PM

QUOTE(bearbear @ Jan 31 2018, 05:46 PM) we don't really know the mechanism i spent less than 1k on mine but i am only on my 2nd year. so perhaps they only offer 2 years waiver ? if it bother you so much, just cut and reapply 6 months later. If you can live without the card. the other issue is i ahve set this card for my autobilling for electricity / water etc...have to change all those which is a hassle

QUOTE(orangutan @ Feb 8 2018, 06:49 PM) I've been using their CC since the blue clear card and have always got em waive. The trick is to threaten to cancel the card if they refuse your request. QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 8 2018, 06:51 PM) yeap...doesn’t always work

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 12 2018, 02:39 PM) PremierMiles cannot be used in KLIA2 unless you deduct points. Only KLIA PPL is complimentary. that’s odd... they only deduct points for the person i am sponsoring, myself is complimentary

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 12 2018, 05:39 PM) Regardless, PremierMiles and other Citibank cards don't cover KLIA2. For VS level, Maybank VS is definitely not high. Only requires 70k p.a. anyways...i got my entries and i am happy 😜

QUOTE(knwong @ Feb 23 2018, 02:57 PM) I too received the SMS notification https://www.citibank.com.my/global_docs/pdf...CARDMEMBERS.pdfThe part I don't understand is RM1 = 60 PremierMiles will become RM1 = 80 PremierMiles. What is this actually? i think it means rm1 spent will get 80 premier miles ?

QUOTE(ju146 @ Feb 24 2018, 10:30 AM) Absolutely not. The rm1:80 premiere miles means you can convert your premiere miles to ringgit and spend with certain merchant. E.g if you have 8000 miles, that is as good as rm100 to spend. dang...that means 20 miles higher than before to claim rm1

QUOTE(Felice821 @ Mar 15 2018, 07:42 PM) I called and requested to get my Premier Miles Card AF waive. The CS called back, and they said current promotion for AF waiver only 50% with 10k bonus credited taking back. If need full waiver, need to utilize my 20k points. Worth to utilize 20k of my point for RM300 AF (50%).? how much miles you have accumulated so far ?

QUOTE(evoce9a @ Mar 22 2018, 04:39 PM) Yes there's many cardholde here able to get full waiver of premiermiles . It might be you dont use that card often thats why they don wanna waive it ? my premiere miles cc is only cc that i've used for all my expenses...and yet they have not waived it for me for the past 2 years so yeah...heavy usage doesn't entitle for waiver This post has been edited by lyc1982: Mar 23 2018, 10:41 AM
