Called up b4 anniversary, which AF suppose to charge in April, both premiermile n cashback card AF delay to Apr 2019.

Nope, now they don use waiver, they just tell u delay to next year, just like last time how HLB WISE termed it..

Also, the CS advise that if I would like to pay for Premiermiles AF, they will give 10k Miles to my card, I said I don want to pay AF, then he said will help to delay to next year, in other word, is waive for this year.

just called citibank and they request me to use 20k points to waive my premiermiles AF? anyone have this issue?

I'm having Citi Cash Back Platinum & Rewards Visa Signature. No problem when asking for AF waiver with no condition attached for both cards. My rewards cards accumulated approximately 70k rewards point only.

I always call CS to ask for waiver, and they waived for me on the spot after asking me to hold for a moment (Shall be checking my data).

1st time is I had paid the AF and only realize it after half year. Then called and ask for waiver, and it is credited back to my CC.

This year is ask for waiver when saw it in unbilled transactions. And able to get the waiver as well.

i took it because of the priority pass airport lounge which is useful for me

AF rm1k can be waived, subject to minimum spending within x number of months. you have to check your promotion details.

i had mine waived, but not the GST

mine was via email too. got some fine print where can read the terms and conditions. the one i received was min RM 12k spending within 2 months of approval date, pay both AF and GST upfront after charged and then will get back 200k points which can be used to redeem the AF. doesn't really sound like a good deal, but i was about to spend that amount for flight tickets anyway.. so i wasn't going out of my way.

Got chance. Bf manage to get it waived.

if u have regular spending, actually you can call to request fee waiver after the 1st 3 years free annual fee... don't need to cancel by then
this is cash advance withdrawal. there are charges and interest rate. you should just use your own cash in bank. that cash back is just luring u to fall into the trap

I have been given a choice to choose either waive half without any premiermiles or pay full with 10,000 premiermiles. Couldn't get full waiver

i got full waiver, pretty easy to get it although i didn't spend much on the card

Premiermiles still useful IMO.
