QUOTE(Berkshire Breakaway @ Feb 5 2016, 07:01 PM) I just received my Citi Cash back card, and there is a brochure about the new PIN & PAY credit card. It stated that effective Jan 01, 2017, all credit card payments at point of sale terminals in Malaysia must be authorized with a 6 digit PIN as signature will no longer be accepted. What you need to do is follow the procedures stated in the brochure to create your own 6 digit PIN. You can refer to www.citibank.com.my/pincard for further information |

QUOTE(AmmoShaf @ Feb 7 2016, 01:34 AM) thanks for your feedback. I don't have one, can I create it if I don't have any account with Citibank except for the cc? And can't I cancel the card through phone call? Yes you may create one without any savings acc. However, since you do not have one currently, you can also fill up a cancellation request form and fax it to the HQ. https://www.citibank.com.my/english/docs/pr...ancellation.pdf The idea is to have it in black and white. |

Great, saw the form before when I was searching for ways of cancellation, but miss the word fax, thought can only send by normal mailing. Would have to settle one EPP though before I can proceed with the cancellation. And find suggestion on which card to apply, as this is my only cc.However, since you do not have one currently, you can also fill up a cancellation request form and fax it to the HQ. https://www.citibank.com.my/english/docs/pr...ancellation.pdf The idea is to have it in black and white. Write on the form for them to notify you in writing via sms, letter or email once the cancellation is confirm.Btw, thanks again for your help. 2 in the morning. On a second thought, if you have the time, register for the online portal and cancel thru it. They sent a confirmation message via it which I saved for black and white. Any hidden mechanism behind on the cashback? Afaik, capped atrm20 per month, and to cashout need to accumulate rm20 in the current statement. Anything else? P/s: apply thru ringgitplus and get samsung phone 😄 |
