Yup , or any other airline miles point . That's if you really intend to terminate if they don want to waive the annual fee then just redeem all

I am already in Clear Club earlier. blush.gif

I was at the Citibank Rewards You Carnival.. Unfortunately, I was late by a bit... 26th person in the queue for AA RM 1 ticket, only 25 people can buy because each can buy two tickets. doh.gif

I went and queued for Smart Tag RM 1, oh well, better than nothing, at least this has 50 units and each cardholder can only buy one unit... The carnival is damn huge.

Just for everyone's knowledge, the queue for RM 1 is every day's 10.00-11.00 a.m.
AA travelling period is 3rd May to 21st Nov 2018. Travel destination is ASEAN countries. Get ready with your travelling partner's IC/Passport details, you have to make booking right away on the spot. That means you have to decide your destination and date when you get it.

RM 1 includes of all taxes and free meal but not luggage allowance, you have to buy your luggage allowance yourself.

Luckily I'm working in MV, I will queue again tomorrow.

the AA RM1 cover which routes ?

Yes totally agreed their conversiom rate is really lousy . Only good thing is unlimited PPL access and airport limo . Bad side is PPL access only for international flights departure . Cant even access if flying domestic . Argh

Actually quite many.
As I'm holding which is M2C Plat, MBB Barcelona VS, Ambank Master Plat/Bonuslink Plat, Citi Business Plat.
But the coverage only so basic, I would prefer to purchase mine with insurance company which have more coverage.
*
all of these recommended have points that won’t expire ?

What's the big deal with expiring points? From time to time points get devalued anyhow (and your points unlike cash in the bank do not earn interest from being left a long time). Once you have sufficient points just exchange it for something...
*
for you it may not be a big deal...

let's assume for someone like me who has accumulated a lot of points that will expire but insufficient points to redeem stuff that i desire is not something i prefer
so i still go for points that won't expire..

and yes it's kinda like a big deal to me, not speaking for others

I am that type of prefer ever green point for cc to accumulate as much as i can to redeem the stuffs i want . Erm i wont say it is a lost for me , at least i able to get what i want to redeem .. I just redeemed a Led tv from Citi a year ago which is on a good timing to change tv for my room at that time .  If only 3 yrs point will be expire , not much things can be redeem if your spending power on ur cc is not strong.

hi there...
is there changes over the t&c over the annual fee waiver?
I got charged earlier, instead of IVR to waive off (which is missing now), I gotta spoke to a CS and then their ppl will call me.
then I received call just now, she told me only can waive 50% + another 50% need to redeem using my point ... and kena charge GST RM18 based on the RM300 (50% using point redemption).... WTF is this ... these day ham pa lang bank also offer credit card w/o annual fee.... gotta change to another bank already, tell them to kiss my ass after staying with them for almost 2 decades, bad moves bad moves for the annual fee thingy.
*
i know right...really frustrating especially if you are using their cc to pay for almost everything and yet they don't value it

Went to CTB hq today with my auntie during lunch time for helping her to request 2nd attempt for annual fee waiver of her Visa Rewards Signature card thru their customer service . After speaks to their cs still couldnt get full waiver , at last my auntie decide to terminate her cards with them . The cs spoke quite a long time to persuade my auntie keeps her cards and explain the benefits of the cards , but at last she decided to terminate on the spot after holding CTB cards so many years .

Saw a man shouting at the counter complaining that after approval 1 month still didn't get the card , called cs , cs say the card is on the way but can't give tracking number since they send via normal mail  sweat.gif

So no reason why i should pay  rolleyes.gif

to be honest citibank were pretty rigid on their AF waiver, last year i managed to waive for my platinum but they ask me to spend certain amount within a month.

i think this is new, perhaps due to losing too many customer recently?
*
this year i will try my luck again...
i like the evergreen points and unlimited PPL entries..

or else just gonna redeem all 100k points to miles and terminate it
