QUOTE(garf @ Sep 26 2016, 01:17 PM) I activated my citi new card and spent more than 1500 within one month. I suppose eligible for the luggage or dashcam... but none citi bank staff contact me pertaining this matter~~ anyone received the gift?? with citibank, you won't need to worry about not receiving the gift. a friend of mine, hit the requirement, and then received an sms that he would receive the luggage, which would be sent to the house. although during the entire process, doesn't seem like anybody called and asked for his preference. I believe the default is the luggage bag.

QUOTE(qeyaqilah @ Oct 11 2016, 02:52 PM) I am thinking to get myself Citibank Clear Card just because the CBL Offer. I dont have any other CC. Is the card any good? can't advise without knowing your spending pattern and other info. citibank clear card is great if you want the b1f1 during weekdays, else any citibank card has that 15% discount. generally i suggest taking the cash back card because most ppl should be able to earn some cash back from it (petrol and telco)

QUOTE(10071985 @ Oct 21 2016, 10:15 AM) so normally you called before to check will they waived? I'm a first time holder of Citi premier miles, so wondering how should i proceed Once you know when they charge your annual fee, just call in few days, or longer before they charge it. That's what I did. They can do early waiver, which I got.

QUOTE(dark90 @ Oct 26 2016, 11:18 AM) Hi All, i got a question, i just got my cards and it seems i got 2 cards. air asia and cash back both got the same credit limit. i've swiped using both, now my question do i have to pay both cards or pay the one account? Actually should be pay to 1. Knowing citibank, paying to one is enough. Else... principal and supp also pay twice. Mine is supp, but paid to principal one shot. But please call CS to confirm. I made a deduction based on prin/supp current arrangement. This post has been edited by adele123: Oct 26 2016, 08:24 PM

QUOTE(dark90 @ Oct 27 2016, 09:02 AM) The 2 cards that i receive is not actually the Prim/supp cards. i got one cashback and another air asia card. both are using the same credit limit. i know. What i'm trying to say is, it is still possible to pay for just one card. prin/supp still 2 cards same credit limit, hence similar concept right? different bank, different style. some maybe ask you to pay to 2, some can pay to 1. you can confirm with them again by calling in or use the instant chat. if lazy to call, then pay to 2 cards. just pointing out another way.

QUOTE(zenjet @ Oct 27 2016, 05:45 PM) Hi Sifus, I just started using Cash Back Platinum, I was told if used 1.5k within 2 months. I'm eligible for a 20' luggage. I'm planning to buy something on taobao.com which is cost 2k. Am I still eligible for the luggage? Or I have to swipe it in retail shop? Anyone had the same scenario before? Thanks. Yes you can swipe online too.

QUOTE(MGM @ Nov 2 2016, 09:56 AM) So all others need to meet certain annual spending for AF waiver? Aside from choice card, none of the cards have any spending criteria to waive annual fee. Annual fee is really subject to Citibank’s discretion to waive. Those who reported here saying spending quite a huge sum annually was not waived. Some swipe few thousand only, can get waiver. And the other way happens.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 20 2016, 02:30 AM) I reckon I have too many cash back cards and don't think I want to apply Citibank Cash Back Plat. However, Clear Card seems good for me, for lifestyle purpose. https://ringgitplus.com/en/credit-card/Citi...Clear-Visa.htmlAnyone got the free Air Fryer from Ringgit Plus? Also probably existing users can advise me if the AF is easy to be waived? Applying for the air fryer? This is my 3rd year, so got 2 annual fee waived. I have 2 colleagues using, neither got the waiver. I dunno how they determine the criteria of waiver. I dont use the b1f1 cinema ticket much. Only coffee bean, once a month. Annual usage about 7k. Maybe cause my colleagues uses too much for friday movie tix.

QUOTE(zaoldyeck @ Dec 15 2016, 06:02 PM) This got any good? Min advance 1k, upfront fee 5.3%. Rugi 0.3%? you know what is cash advance right? if you know, then you would also know that there's very high interest. so, citibank earn your interest AND your upfront fee as well.

QUOTE(laymank @ Dec 15 2016, 11:53 PM) i have seen many comments that they don't want the contactless payment paywave feature due to security concern, but you are on the other end. one type of rice feeds all types of people. at some point, you will get used to the wave feature and find it too convenient to ignore... i prefer mine with wave feature, easier, faster...

QUOTE(mingwei1992 @ Dec 29 2016, 09:52 AM) Just called citibank yesterday to ask for waiver. they waive me for a year for my card. Im currently using cash back and rewards card. PS: how do we confirm the waiver other than the conversation i have with their customer service. when i did it in october, CS explained to me is that, it won't show annual fee at all, hence no reversal... so the confirmation was, ensure the item didn't appear in statement.

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 29 2016, 03:00 PM) But in my statement, there's: REVERSAL OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE | RM 195 (SR)GST@ 6% REVERSAL OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHI | RM 11.70 i think i need to highlight is that, i called in before it was charged, hence no reversal... also, it might still vary across different people. i think the other guy is more similar to my case because he called before it was being charged.
