haha..if you live near klang valley.. then perhaps can go cose for checking. normal small sc will charge you 60 for computer scan.. so called PADT diagnostic. in cose perhaps foc.

oh.. that one. probably oil from rocker valve gasket there. when the oil drip on the hot engine surface it get burned.

so need to check the outside of engine where the rocker valve gasket located.

that HU, even if you sent your car to HQ COSE, they would still need to taken it out and sent to Bosch Penang for repair and it takes weeks of times.

Preve produced end of 2014 is getting Blaupunkt brand (dunno if its model New York or what) of HU and you would need to cut wire & modification at the HU connector (Which SC will not do it for you, can ask accessory shop to do)

I am also searching for an after market HU, 2 DIN.

with a latest android system, able to play FLAC audio file, able to install offline android navigation apps such as papago M11.

So far still looking at taobao, and plan to order if find a suitable one and ask some accessories shop to install for me with some charges.

kek. should hve used proton ori parts, if anything goes wrong can claim back either free parts or labor.

mine used 2014 by COSE, if check system gearbox n engine still under 5 years waranty till mid of this year.

however when i keep asking them if can get free cvt damper replacement, all keep avoiding my question. n said wait call from proton.

kek. its really noisy. bad soundproof., i just done the tyre side sound proof, no much different.

if at 120KM/h, thats engine noise. its sounds like struggling.. Btw, I think preve chassis weight + campro engine is drink fuel like there is no tomorrow.

I have driven my boss civic ketam turbo. the fuel consumption is very very low. normal highway + city ~ >15Km/L, and if purely highway can reach ~ 17-2x km/L @ 150km/h.

somehow the honda engine they can enginereed it till this level... while campro......

Nope. Bosch HU GPS system and map is different from the Blaupunkt. and the SD card (With latest map, althought dated few years back from today) need to purchase from Bosch Penang.

Have anyone test drive the Persona VVT?

You must have realize something different from the Preve Turbo right?

Persona VVT:
Example 1: when travelling, the instant pickup is superrrrrbbbb responsive.

Example 2: The pickup from stand till after engaged let the cvt clutch engaged, is not a joke.

Preve Turbo
Example 1: When traveling, the pickup is good but still not feel that it is responsive. like slow by 1 second. Or we call it as Turbo lag?

Example 2: the pickup from standstill after clutch engaged is .. somehow.. like having some small coughing. (Previously worst at slow or stop and go traffic. its getting better after service the Oil Control Valve)


Other than that.. don't know whether its absorber related. when persona passing a very small uneven road, there is no shock can be felt... but my preve can felt the shaking shock (although I dint find any evidence that my absorber is kong - 2nd hand car, so dont know how the new car feel).

Let me know your opinion if you have test drive the persona.
