Checked review on reddit and youtube. If you don't play game, m3 core is sufficient and many say that the temperature is very good for a fanless machine.

The Arc Mouse is a weird mouse, unique but weird. The arc creates an empty space where your thumb and pinkie would rest but nothing there now. But it folds thin nicely and activates when arched. I'm using the Arc Mouse Surface Edition with mine.

Thanks for your feedback.

Maybe just using it to connect more than 1 USB device such as printer and thumbdrive or USB mouse.

So i called thudnermatch just in case. And i got a totally different response. Apparently this time I was told that the items are ready and packed but they are just waiting for the included free gifts to arrive and it should be sent out within the week. Im not sure this inconsistency in response is funny or sad sweat.gif

Just be aware, mine was similar situation. Waited for two weeks, and until a Thursday they said things are ready to ship out, and Friday deal canceled by lazada, claimed that no stock.

Bluetooth. Can't comment on the connection with SP3, it works flawlessly with my Surface Book.

Update to the November Windows TH2 update, that should clear the flickering. As for the bad battery, go into Device Manager and click the entry on "Battery". The battery driver is old, circa 2006. Right click and choose "update driver". That should update it to the more recent 2013 driver. Reboot.
*
thanks! updated windows and flickering is no longer present.

On the other hand, the battery driver is the most up to date driver already. I'm now trying to tweak things like brightness, Bluetooth, etc to optimise my battery power. and even at 25% brightness, Bluetooth turned off, windows hello turned on, the battery last only about 5hours, including 1.5hours of standby - that is essentially 3.5hours of usage only.

Is this normal?

My battery life indicator took a while to stabilize and report actual usable hours, I get around 3-4hrs too, before the TH2 update drops and a couple of reboots. Give it time. I leave Cortana off, brightness at the "suggested" setting, and BT turned off too. I get 10-11hours once everything is said and done. Bear in mind, I'm using the Surface Book, without the Keyboard, it's only 2-3 hours.

I see. ok - that gives me a little bit of comfort. hopefully after a few more charge cycles the battery will stabilise. Will report back here again soon! cheers mate.

This could be a sort of very cliche question but between the Surface Pro 3 i5 and the Surface Pro 4 m3, which is better overall?

Is there anywhere i can get a surface pro 3 cheap? considering the pro 4 has been released lol. Not sure whether to get the i5 SP3 (if its cheap) or the M3 SP4, all i want is long battery life (well, m3 SP4?) and portability because a high end laptop that im using is such a bulky device to bring back and forth.
