I'd prefer Surface 3, mainly due to the size. Of course, compromise with the Processing power. Another to consider is that, I can use powerbank to charge Surface 3, but not Surface pro 3. That is the convenience.

That has also trigger the need to buying extended warranty for 2nd year and 3rd year, taking consideration that the repair cost is so high.

There are Surface for commercial (not surface pro), example:

Consumer model: the 64GB is 2GB RAM, Windows 8.1 with Office 365
Commercial model: 64GB is 4GB RAM, Windows 8.1 Pro, without office 365

There are a few authorized reseller which you can find from microsoft website.

If you opt for consumer model, I guess retailer is the only option.

What services did you disable to optimize the performance?

I just got very disappointed with Lazada.

I saw this deal on 27th Oct (waited many days for it to put it online, coz it was Coming Soon for few days), and managed to placed order and order went through of course.

Waited two weeks, and called up twice and confirmed got stock. Yesterday I called and confirmed again they have stock and will ship out and ETA 18th Nov.

Then this morning check status again, merchant cancel the order and said no more stock.

Now, they just proceed with refund.

If the merchant cannot full fill the sales, why put it up? Or, conspiracy that maybe they are making a loss then decided to pull out and say no stock?

...

What would you do? Take the refund and shut up?

Do you guys think that it is a con-sales?

yeah, I am new to lazada and just now just typed in google, and I am not alone....

Some even said they took our money to roll.
Anyway, what is your spec of SP3?

My surface 3 order was RM1,999. Do you think they would want to sell it so cheap?

Just be aware, mine was similar situation. Waited for two weeks, and until a Thursday they said things are ready to ship out, and Friday deal canceled by lazada, claimed that no stock.

sigh....seems like I am not alone.

By the way, how to we go to consumer society?

I think plenty of promotion for 2GB RAM, 64GB storage model.

For 128GB, 4GB RAM, so far price has been up to 2.8k. I managed to grab one from Ensogo with RM2.3k.

Could be the cable.

But, I have used a Xiao Mi 20,000maH powerbank and its original cable and able to charge.

How many hours can your Surface 3 battery last? Mine only like 6 hours, i think 7 hours is a dream.

I need a bit of advice and help for my Surface 3 (not pro).

The keyboard sometimes can be detected, sometimes cannot. When it can be detected, it work very well until it loses "signal" to the surface 3, then I will need to wait....it will come back.

I ran the surface diagnostic tool, and it still the same symptoms, and I finally reset the whole surface 3, and it is still the same.

I am not sure how do I get /where do I get a support for this, moreover, cannot confirm that the keyboard is dead also, thanks in advance
