ur ori size is 14-36 i think... if u wanna lower 1 notch to 35 for ori bike i think ok ok ... but u wont notice the top much...

Riding a 10 year old EX5 classic with electric starter. (from my dad)

EX5 is pretty great, half throttle can reach 100kph on Penang Bridge (but damn scaryyyy, feel like floating in the air ). Usually I'm doing 80kph on coastal highway about 1/4 throttle, the speed is just nice

So far no modification, just changed to the widest tyre supported, using fully synthetic Esso engine oil and V-power.

Just wondering if there is any options to change the braking system? I would like to have a disk brake at the front wheel

Yo guys,i met an accident 2 days earlier....
I was riding this suzuki fx110 and was cruising at nearby taman around 60km/h....
When i came to a T junction and i wanna turn left i got no chance to slow down nia....
The brake dont work properly and the next thing i know is that i langgar terus to those cement divider.....
I was tossed from the bike like a superman and so do my friend...
We both are injured but i'm more serious....
Knee bleeding,right arm bleeding,left palm bone abit not normal and many many bruises
And about the bike,front tyre pancit,coverset scratched deeply and the engine cover pecah...

Lesson learned:
Check break to see whether it works properly before going out...
Speeding is dangerous when making turns...

So glad i'm saved now,just suffering from the pain...
I nearly pengsan 2 somemore,once at the crash site,one at clinic....

That 'floating' feeling can be solver. You can change to harder absorbers. My fren did just that and the floaty feeling is gone

The pickup from 0 - 60kph is good enough (when riding alone la ), but beyond 60 is a bit sux. my plate # is WFR, 10 year old ady

Hope u recover soon dude. I had a bad experience too. A few months back, when i was travelling at quite low speed (abt 30kph) and wanna cut a Wira from the right, the car suddenly turn right. Luckily predicted it might turn bcoz in front car going slow and at the wira's right got a bit of space to overtake car in front.
So when i brake super hard, the front brake line putus..... nearly bang into that car....scarry. That's y i plan to change EX5 brake to stronger one although looks a bit rempit

thanks for the suggestion. I guess the floaty feel not only caused by absorber, but also the Givi box behind the passenger seat and poor aerodynamic.
Well, maybe i should change the absorber 1st. AFAIK, only the rear one can change right? There is no upgrade for front absorber right?

I particularly like EX5's engine, really smooth at lower rpm compared to a newly bought Suzuki Shogun 125 at home (i took my dad's EX5, so hv to sponsor 50% for tat new bike la ).

To me, Shogun is damn powerful and smooth when the engine revs high, but at lower rpm, especially when going between cars in traffic jam, Shogun's engine is a bit jerky. EX5 engine? Smooth as silk !! The only thing i dislike is high rpm performance, always no enuff power
btw, full synthetic + v-power really helps in boosting high rpm power on my EX5 Gonna faster finish the current V-power and try the red color one later

Worst part is that the bike is not owned by me nia.....It belongs to my friend's uncle... Lucky he didnt mad when he knew his bike met an accident...
Now i have to pay for the repair fee...
So regret now...

oppss my next oil treatment is on 2nd dec,.....seems like my front fork create "sound" when press during rain...all the time its safe n sound....old prob...fork service is around 30 bucks per forks

my 1st accident was a car "slash" from right...it was near an exit from highway,i was @ 50-60kmph...stuck on the bike....bike fell & turn in the middle of the road,thx god there was no fast car that time....manage to get up...2 despatch came to the rescue..1 help lift my bike clear from the road...1 more guy chased the car who hit me

managed to caught the car...the driver came,with gf scared, asked for instant money & report L8,his car was tiny bent,my bike was ok,only the brake pedal broken & scratch,some coverset broken...my right leg & arm bleeding...1 week mc

u seems lik very very lik EX5 same goes as me too if u wan high rpm performance... u can alwiz mod abit headblock then u will really feel the power

hmmm ... if u've driven lagenda b4... u will more biased to it seriously lagenda is a damn good bike... u get wut u pay for... in original condition... lagenda oledi very very smooth... wan power got power... pickup aso even faster than EX5...

How is this possible? You mean both the front and rear brakes were not working?

Anyways, these are good lesssons for you. Although painful, at least your are alive and did not lose any limbs. Be more careful next time and GWS.

no other oledi last time got mod pipe lor... top speed above 120km/h i very lik to see the meter going further 120km/h until almost touched the fuel meter's needle there ...hahaha now bike bring to kl put b ori not familiar with the sound aso hmm ... see la when i free i snap a pic

Anyway, my fren got a new Lagenda 110, damn smooth the power and the pickup is very good, esp after 60kph. My EX5 barely keeps up until 60kph, and then die looo... hahaha.

I always train bike skill every week from batu feringgi-> teluk bahang -> balik pulau -> bayan lepas. Abt 80km ride, mostly hill run. Got 1 day raining, cornering tat time oso quite scary esp. with sand. Gonna control the throttle and brake properly to avoid uncontrolled slide. Well, usually very few cars on the hill run early in the morning, so I got more guts to push my motor to limit
