QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Nov 26 2006, 12:36 PM) Just tried my dad's Shogun 125 max speed on LDP, using semi-synthetic oil and BP normal petrol. Full throttle can easily boost to 110kph. After that, the engine feels slow to accelerate, and it's damn scary bcoz the wind like can blow me away from bike :-S It seems that a bike's performance is so easily influenced by fuel and lubricant. After finished with BP petrol, pump in full tank V-power. Woah, it's different ! the power at high rev really rox. Can easily hit 100kph with 1/3 throttle and 110kph at slightly more than half throttle. Hmm.... next time persuade my dad to change to fully-synthetic. I am pretty sure it can go up to 120kph easily. |

So when we push the foot pedal, the springs push the clutch open, working in concert with the foot pedal?
Just assuming, dunno really. Another assumption, we need to release the throttle don't we, when shifting? This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Mar 15 2007, 06:37 PM |

I need one of my friend's bikes to test la.
Nevermind, just a curiosity, not actually essential to me, but a good thing to learn. |
