Just tried my dad's Shogun 125 max speed on LDP, using semi-synthetic oil and BP normal petrol. Full throttle can easily boost to 110kph. After that, the engine feels slow to accelerate, and it's damn scary bcoz the wind like can blow me away from bike :-S

After finished with BP petrol, pump in full tank V-power. Woah, it's different ! the power at high rev really rox. Can easily hit 100kph with 1/3 throttle and 110kph at slightly more than half throttle. Hmm.... next time persuade my dad to change to fully-synthetic. I am pretty sure it can go up to 120kph easily.

Got 1 day raining, cornering tat time oso quite scary esp. with sand. Gonna control the throttle and brake properly to avoid uncontrolled slide. Well, usually very few cars on the hill run early in the morning, so I got more guts to push my motor to limit tongue.gif

LC135 was a almost perfect for me tongue.gif it's pickup very scary... some said it might even win a 125z on pickup... sweat.gif even nicer than lagenda... but i never drive b4 so i duno biggrin.gif if got chance wanna gip it a try thumbup.gif

well if u wanna mod ur ex5... do it safe is mod the engine's headblock (cam,piston,all polished)... police wont notice it tongue.gif but if u change the carb... sometimes will get kacau from police... roadblock kenot pass biggrin.gif

It seems that a bike's performance is so easily influenced by fuel and lubricant. smile.gif

top quality fuel and lubricant, more powerful the bike is.
so if we use racing fuel and lubricant, the bike can be like GP superbikes? laugh.gif

Yeah. When my dad was using the EX5, he used RM12 engine oil and BP petrol. It's very hard to get to 80kph. Now, after i changed to fully synthetic Esso (RM49) and V-power, easily hit 80kph on coastal highway, sometimes even do 90kph without realizing it (when getting high and kicks in more petrol tongue.gif).

Anyway, if wanna change to fully synthetic from organic oil, better use semi-synthetic 1st, then only transition to fully synthetic. Forgoten what's the reason behind, but it seems like mixing organic and full syn might cause some deposit to left in engine.

I don't expect 135LC to match its acceleration at high rpm, but low rpm shud be very strong. I am pretty satisfied with Shogun's 125 low rpm performance, 135LC should hv the perfect acceleration at all rpm for me biggrin.gif

Hmm..... should i wait another 2 years for 150LC?? tongue.gif

a normal headblock mod would cost u around RM 200+- .... if u wan further... prepare atleast RM 400++
haha... motor can drift aso ler... if u watched motor GP ... u will c them doing those stuns tongue.gif u tot they gonna spin off.... but actually they're drifting biggrin.gif

already test 135LC standard...top speed can reach 160kph.....
then modified the head,block n change the exhaust,lay magnet then usik 'angin'.... top speed 190kph.... just about 1km need to reach that speed.... at that speed that bike not stable....

even the stock Lagenda is good enuff,police usually caught ur pipe sound,rear disc brake...most of the time

LC r good bike,down & up the hills roxor!!! flex.gif the pickup r excellent,no complaint whether @ low or high rpm..if i buy,no need to engine mod no more

ooyeah! shogun tends to"tired" after 110..noticeable...hummrr with oil does make a different...what about the sproket?stock?
