Yo guys,i met an accident 2 days earlier....
I was riding this suzuki fx110 and was cruising at nearby taman around 60km/h....
When i came to a T junction and i wanna turn left i got no chance to slow down nia....
The brake dont work properly and the next thing i know is that i langgar terus to those cement divider.....
I was tossed from the bike like a superman and so do my friend...
We both are injured but i'm more serious....
Knee bleeding, right arm bleeding, left palm bone abit not normal and many many bruises
And about the bike, front tyre pancit, coverset scratched deeply and the engine cover pecah...

Lesson learned:
Check break to see whether it works properly before going out...
Speeding is dangerous when making turns...

So glad i'm saved now, just suffering from the pain...
I nearly pengsan 2 somemore, once at the crash site, one at clinic....
*
How is this possible? You mean both the front and rear brakes were not working?

Anyways, these are good lesssons for you. Although painful, at least your are alive and did not lose any limbs. Be more careful next time and GWS.

Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83Ghz  - I wonder why they dun call it pentium 5
15.4" Widescreen XGA TFT Display with Truelife
128MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 Hypermemory - I hav no idea at all wat tis is
2x512MB 667MHz DDR2 - I dunno tis either
120GB SATA HDD - Wats SATA HDD ?
9-Cell 85Whr Lithium Ion Primary Battery - I m guessing its a laptop
8x DVD-/+RW - I like to hav one of these
Windows XP Home Edition SP2

gosh, i m too old for all these hi-tech shit  rclxub.gif

What's so difficult to understand? This is a techie's forum. Signatures are supposed to say something about themselves, hence the hw specs. icon_idea.gif

lol Carro strikes again laugh.gif

zombie, mine is Tahan but my friend's is Am and he lost his bike about 2 months ago, now he got back his reimbursement already which is quite fast IIANM, my insurance sure take about 5-6 months..
*
So, tahan is a nono, and AmAssurance is not too bad at 2 months. I'm currently with Kurnia, but don't know if they're good coz I have not made any claims before.

Kurnia has this B. No-Fault Own Damage Claim. Look here for it.

B. No-Fault Own Damage Claim

No-Fault Own Damage claim is similar to an Own Damage claim with exception that your NCD will not be forfeited. Introduced by Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) effective June 2001 in order to expedite the claim process, this claim is applicable only when the accident is deemed not your fault. This is determined by the circumstances of the accident and through the police investigation report (ie Police compound/findings, sketch plan and key) to support the claim. The claim is made only with regards to damages to your vehicle excluding compensations such as loss of use.

However, this is only applicable to cars. Anyone know if any other insurance co has this for bikes? icon_question.gif

just proven tat Suzuki bike still as good as Honda n Yamaha...but 4 stroke motorbike is less power than the 2 stroke nyamuk..

is the Suzuki bike have higher maintenance cost compare to Honda n Yamaha???
*
2-strokers are not so good for long distance riding. A well maintained FXR150 would definitely be more lasting in a long haul ride than any 150cc 2-strokers. Some more those 2-strokers need a constant top up of 2T-oil.

I would say that Suzuki bikes does have a higher maintenance cost compared to others. Parts cost more.

scoopit kinda ok la. they never do stupidd things with their bikes. they only dress their scooter up and i can say that some are really really artistic. i even saw a scooter painted entirely purple with custom painted vinyls. uber cool,,,

ya i anti mat rempit. cause they killed the nice po po staying next door. so after graduation my first car will be mitsubishi storm. with front spikes. so next time when i see a rempit i can go over them and kill them. i would do the country some good by eleminating pests like that. since no one will ever care if they die or what.

and if masuk court. i just pleed innocent la. i never kill a person also. only help the perbandaran to clean rubbish only ma..

any one face any problem of noisy electric starter? my kriss is like coughing whenever i use the electric starter, very loud to the extent that i feel embarrassed, so i just kick start it nowadays..
could it be other problems that is causing that? or is it just the starter is dying? it'll still run, just that damn noisy, and took sometime before the motor will start..
*
Check your battery. It could be dying.

i have a feeling that it's not the battery.. normally how long does a battery last?
i have a battery charger at home, and i've tried using the starter with the charger on, sounds the same also...
the charger can output 12-14V @ 6amp max, should be able to power the starter rite?
*
First thing to do is to ensure your water level in the battery is correct. Then go ahead and charge it up. Let the batt charge for an hour or so and try it again. Connecting the charger to the batt is not good enough.

Batteries usually last for 1-2 years.
