Ohh u using black color one, yes tat called BTU which connected to fiber cable. So BTU called modem, aka BRIDGED MODE. Bridge mode is not internet access. Only PPPoE is, its authenticate username and password, is correct it will give u internet access.

So by using router u need to use PPPoE mode

So u can buy as many router as u like if u know ur unifi username and password

But if BTU spoilt, u need to contact TM Technician to replace new one for u and they will reconfigure BTU setting. Outside no sell BTU because TM actually smart enough, they bind ur BTU MAC ADDRESS with ur home pole, in other means, u take ur friend BTU and plug in ur house fiber cable, ur friend BTU is not working because MAC address is different...

I not sure why they need so many lan port on modem. For my case they disable port 2.3.4 in my modem. I tried plug in 2.3.4 no any light indicator...

So in my guess, they just partner with alcatel to produce compatible unifi modem, so its just a design, they just need flash the firmware to btu den its done, give to tm, den tm sell to end user.

P1 fibre is already ceased, P1 subscriber will get called from P1 to upgrade to unifi.

I got friend BTU lan port 1 spoilt, TM change to Port 2 without any charge.
