But seriously though, really enjoying gaming with the xbox controller. Still the best with PC. Have tried all the Nintendo switch pro, PS4 and etc. XBOX is still the best and seamless.

Or you could just get the wireless adapter? It's really quite good. Only ~10ms behind wired, not really a big difference unless you're gonna use the controller for fighting games (which is terrible because the dpad sucks anyway).

It's expensive the adapter. How about any other common Bluetooth adapter? What's the lag like?

It's a one time cost, not that expensive when you think about it since the technology is proprietary.

All BT adapters will have higher input lag than the official wireless adapter. The issue isn't the BT adapters specifically, it's that the BT connection protocol used for the controllers isn't good enough.

Does the wireless adapter can be used for other BT products too? Or it's really solely and purely xbox?

Believe it or not, some batteries do not provide a proper 1.2v output from when it's fully charged vs when it has only 30% left. The lower the charge there is on the battery, the lower that voltage output becomes. Guess what happens when the voltage drops? Well, if you use a headset with the controller, the audio would suddenly become weaker. Guess what also happens with a low charge? Input lag GOES UP!

This is something Microsoft will never tell you and most people won't realize it.

Well, yes but there is a solution. Buy batteries that has a consistent 1.2v output from start to finish. The OG Sanyo Eneloops does this. Now a days it's been re-wrapped and rebranded as Fujitsu's rechargeable batteries (the white ones with red Fujitsu logo, NOT the pink ones).

this is hard, especially like you said rebranded ones.
Ikea also selling rechargeable battery but im not sure what brands and how good it is.
the one that Nyko that using is Lithium ion battery. what brand inside the shell really no idea.
but so far i didnt really experience any significant input lag when the battery running low. it just stop working on the spot when the battery dead.
normally i only use controller play some indie games, maybe thats why i dont feel it.

Ikea LADDA is also rewrapped Eneloops by Panasonic, but those are made in China instead of Japan at Fujitsu's FDK plant (which Fujitsu bought over the old Sanyo plant). Not a huge difference, but the Panasonic made ones do not have as many recharge cycles as Fujitsu's.

The LADDA is the best value though, since they're RM40 for 4 pieces of AA compared to Panasonic's which are RM55 for 4 pieces.

Interesting, im thinking if it's worth the money or not.
Wireless adapter + fujitsu rechargeable battery is about RM200+..
vs a good decent USB C cable RM30~Rm50. xD

I think it depends on how you are going to use your controller.

If you are just sitting on chair and play at the front of computer, then cable should be ok.

If you plan to lay at bed and play, wireless is more suitable.
