Guys i just bought wireless dongle for my non bluetooth contoller. Now looking for battery.
Which is more reliable and easy to use
Fake battery pack 1400mah
or
Standard AA rechargable battery

can i charged my battey while using it with AA battery and how long can the battery last before need to recharge?
*
dont buy fake china battery, been there, those rubbish only can last me max 2-3hours game play and dead less than 1 year.
im using NYKO battery pack. each fully charge can last me around 8hrs+ game play
very good quality battery. the price increased, last time i bought less than 100

Nice pack but out of my budget right now.😅
Looking with budget around rm50 together with the charger.
Usually i play less theb 3 hrs/session. As long the battery can last for 1 session is good for me

there is a single unit as well, but no usb cable, so u donno when its fully charge, their own usb cable got LED indicator, to tell you when its fully charged, thats why i recommend that twin pack it comes with usb charging cable.

just my 2cent, I rather buy a good one peace of mind than later spend another time to get a better quality battery.
in the end, the money u spent can actually get a good quality battery.
what you pay is what you get.
this company produces many accessories for console.

ur money u decide.

other than the share button on the controller, what else is different?
currently, I'm using the previous version without the share button, xbox one s controller with the original BT adapter.
Just curious will the new controller pair with my current BT adapter?

- LB/RB bumper buttons are slightly shallower, so it conforms more to those with shorter index fingers.

- D-pad is now a hybrid circular disc instead of a + shape. Like it or not is preference.

- There is now perforated texture on the triggers, it is also matte material instead of gloss.

- Input lag is lower but only on Xbox Series X, Win10 hasn't have any driver update yet to bring it in line with XSX input latency levels.
Yes the new controller will pair with any BT adapter as long as it's 4.0 and above. However connecting with BT does have higher input lag (this applies to the older Xbox One X/S controllers as well).

thx for the details list down.
sry let me correct my sentence.. I mean im currently using the original Xbox wireless dongle.
this one, it will still pair with the new controller?
regarding the input lag... which means require to get a new dongle as well?

It's expensive the adapter. How about any other common Bluetooth adapter? What's the lag like?

it's worth it, speaking from my personal experience.
playing without wire and laying back like a dead fish with a pillow while holding the controller

this one is the new one i think
with charging base 2x battery and now using usb3. for the price i think not bad.

Believe it or not, some batteries do not provide a proper 1.2v output from when it's fully charged vs when it has only 30% left. The lower the charge there is on the battery, the lower that voltage output becomes. Guess what happens when the voltage drops? Well, if you use a headset with the controller, the audio would suddenly become weaker. Guess what also happens with a low charge? Input lag GOES UP!

This is something Microsoft will never tell you and most people won't realize it.

I think this applies to all wireless devices.

Well, yes but there is a solution. Buy batteries that has a consistent 1.2v output from start to finish. The OG Sanyo Eneloops does this. Now a days it's been re-wrapped and rebranded as Fujitsu's rechargeable batteries (the white ones with red Fujitsu logo, NOT the pink ones).
*
this is hard, especially like you said rebranded ones.
Ikea also selling rechargeable battery but im not sure what brands and how good it is.
the one that Nyko that using is Lithium ion battery. what brand inside the shell really no idea.
but so far i didnt really experience any significant input lag when the battery running low. it just stop working on the spot when the battery dead.
normally i only use controller play some indie games, maybe thats why i dont feel it.
