That's a BT issue that extends to the old controllers and also PS4 and PS5 controllers too. Windows and Intel need to fix their shit, not the perihperal's fault.

If you use the official xbox dongle instead, the input latency is very much lower.

I am using official Xbox dongle, means no point for me getting the new version right?

wow u tested? Im still on 1st gen xbox one controller with ms adaptor wonder huge difference in latency ?
*
There is about a 6-12ms on average lower latency on the Series X/S controller over the Xbox One OG/S/X gen controller.

Not a huge difference, it's barely half a frame on a 60fps game. But if you play at 120fps or more, then that suddenly becomes more than 1 frame of input latency.

If you already have the One S/X controller, no there isn't really a point in getting the Series X/S version.

That time I buy it mainly due to I want to play Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. This game using keyboard to play is nightmare.

Beside this game, others game like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dragon Dogma: Dark Arisen, Devil May Cry, Lost Planet and etc. is better to use Game Controller as well.
Basically mostly console games port to PC is better using Game Controller to play than Keyboard.

Games that more natural play with controller, racing games or games designed with console in mind such as Gears or Halo.

I think it should be AA batteries, NOT AAA. Don't get the wrong ones! biggrin.gif

It's just more convenient to play with certain games. Also got the vibration to make things more intense.

Up to own preference really.
Advantage of using internal rechargeable battery is no need to take out battery each time, disadvantage is more expensive solution.
I'm using internal rechargeable battery as used to this way as PS4 controller also internal battery.

Panasonic Eneloop is no longer the best, they're now made in China and actually does not have as many recharge cycles as the OG Sanyo Eneloop.

The best right now is the Fujitsu Rechargeable battery. FDK Corp bought over the old Sanyo factory, so ALL the technologies from Sanyo is now used by Fujitsu to make their batteries in Japan. Basically what I'm saying is Fujitsu rechargeable batteries are now re-wrapped Sanyo Eneloops, but cheaper than Panasonic's rebranded Eneloop.

Those 2 are the same. The second link comes with an extra USB-C cable.

Both of them are also wrongly named, those are the Series X controllers. There is no such thing as a "core" controller.
