QUOTE(ekorjiulai @ Oct 11 2015, 07:19 PM) Thanks for these updates Jagalat, very much appreciated. Be rest assured that there are people checking out this forum regularly and reading your posts silently (like me..!). Keep up the good work. Hopefully the building height will go above the ekocheras road banners soon! Just like me, i am still keeping track on the development but a bit quiet only.

QUOTE(restful increase @ Oct 3 2015, 06:25 PM) Actually there r many service apartments or soho which haveĀ direct link to mrt/lrt. Youcity, saville@cheras, sunway velocity, Maxim@Cheras, Netizen@Bandar tun hussein onn just to name a few in Cheras alone. I wonder why the forummer named Ekocheras as the best as there are many other similar developments in Cheras. There was a report analysis done by the real estate specialist on the 12 MRT linked properties, and EkoCheras was rated No. 1 among them. I believe that article was shared in this forum, but have to dig it out. This post has been edited by neonikson1: Oct 13 2015, 07:54 PM

Reuse of the deleted posting...
With the latest toll hike inclusive of Duke, do you think Ekovest will have a better cash flow for other projects like EKC? (Understand there are different accounts)

My take on probability of project abandoning is: 1) 10 months ago - high, as almost no difference upon each visit to the site 2) 4 to 5 months ago - medium high as snail pace progress observed 3) this month - medium as significant progress observed for months
The degree of abandoning, to me, is relatively lower than the reading beginning of the year. I do not totally rule out the probability as continuous monitoring is still required.
I have no internal visibility on their management decision.
Other buyers pls continue to feedback to the developer whenever possible and tekan them to produce periodic update.
One question is if this debut mixed development project is abandoned, how big is the reputation impact towards subsequent projects?

As for the draw down, if I recall correctly from earlier thread, it should happen when the work of the phase is completed. Based on the progress, BlkJ buyers should get notice earlier compared to others.

I doubt it will be abandoned they are big construction company with reputation at stake. Worry if they will rush to complete before LAD causing lower quality

A few months back, l was informed by a sub con personal working on the basement. He indicated that the EKC engineer(s) enforced strict requirements in casting the concrete. Thorough checking has been conducted by EKC engineer(s). Redo / rework would be imposed if mistake were found. I have no further details beyond this.

What are all these EKC/EKV labeled barricades doing at the entrence of Tesco Midah? Earlier l tot the barricades were borrowed for MRT construction. Now it seems that the land in front of Tesco Midah (facing MRR2) is being cleared. Construction of the Uturn flyover?

Anyone with any details on the next 10% payment please share alright... I think at this rate, seems like it works out better for those who didn't opt for the DIBS route (i.e. less interest charged when bank drawdown has been delayed).
