Ekovest had a booth at star property fair at TCM

SA still saying date of completion is end 2017

Block E studio fully sold except one at top floor. 821 sf one unsold unit at 7th floor at RM716 psf net

Block H one unsold unit at 19th floor RM768 psf net

Do they aim to publish the periodic update?
I just checked the Ekocheras.com, seem no update.

Need buyers to consistently checking on them. There is a property fair this coming this week.

The SA said got 2 units in block H which is unsold. 1 unit at level 19 and another unit at level 4. She maintained that completion will be on Dec 2017. She explained that block J and H has 3 levels of under ground basement carpark which is taking a lot of time to construct but once the basement is completed the rest of the construction will be much faster, hence they are maintaining the Dec 2017 deadline.

“This development is in a very convenient part of town, especially as there is a future MRT station right next door,” he said.

“I’m planning on using this unit for investment. My tenants will be able to shop at the upcoming IKEA store in Cheras.”

I am planning to buy block E. SA says must use their panel banks. A whole list of them...just wondering if there is any advise on which banks have best offer? Tot best if can get some advise first before I contact them one by one. Thx!

A prelim welcome ....
I am using Antbank.
Recently they requested the "Power attorney search" and buyers have to pay...
The background is, after loan agreement signed back in 2013, no draw down has yet been made and they wanna know if borrowers become bankrupt since...so they requested this search .... Leceh....
Wonder if other bank is also requesting this type of search....

Also should you plan to flip after vp, avoid those loans with lock in period..

Thx for your advise. Will ask if other banks have this. On resale, I understand that usually this can only be done after Title is under own name, do u know typically when can this be done? After we get key or there are certain holding period (beside the loan lock in)?

Btw, I asked SA regarding the slow progress, SA mentioned due to 3flr basement construction which takes longer but expected completion is end 2017.

I did not explore how long it takes for the title reflected owner's name...Need other daikors input

Besides lock in and the above scenario, watch out for rpgt if you plan not to use the life time exemption.

Ekovest MD sent us letter last time said there will be a newsletter sent to their customers in Oct and will have news on the progress of all their projects. Did anyone receive the newsletter?

Does anyone expect the SA will tell any potential buyer or their customers tht the project completion will be delayed? LOL.
